Running - shin pain
I know the usual advice for shin pain is to go slower, but my running speed is already well below my walking speed, which is pretty pathetic! And it also seems like when I run faster, the pain disappears sooner - the only trouble is I can't run fast (my fast, not normal people fast, so still slow) for more than a minute or…

Recipe builder doesn't work as it used to?
Before, I used to enter all my ingredients in grams, then add up the numbers and insert that as "total servings", so that when I weighed out say 250 grams of a meal, that was the number of servings I entered and everything added up. Now, however, I can no longer enter any larger numbers, it all defaults back to 1 serving.…

Activity tracker recommendations
I have decided that I will reward myself with a fitness or activity tracker when I reach my 1st goal weight (65 kg) :) . But I am completely lost when it comes to choosing one. What activity trackers do you have experience with, are they any good and what did you base your selection on when you were buying yours? I already…

IIFYM?
Can somebody please explain the "if it fits your macros" concept? Does it mean you should stay within your allotted calories whilst also reaching your macro goals, OR are the calories irrelevant as long as the macros are spot on? Sorry for the silly question.

Cauliflower pizza
Has anyone tried making it? I do not have a blender, nor any other fancy kitchen gadgets, just an oven. There are so many recipes for making it, any tips to get a good result?

At home bodyweight routines
I'm in the middle of the Insanity challenge (haven't done anything in a week, I must confess, since I've been ill), which I truly like. But I'm curious to know, what other exercise challenges are out there that can be done at home and most importantly - do not require any equipment (I only have a yoga mat and 2kg weights).…

Want to try Insanity, but...
I am very unfit. I can only do about 5 girly push-ups, if that, and generally, my fitness levels are very poor (although I'm not severely overweight - 5 ft 7 and 154 pounds). I glanced through the videos and got a bit tired just looking at them. I would love to try it but there is no way I will be able to complete a set of…

Lousy day
I started the day off normally, with some tea and a good, healthy breakfast. And then somehow it all turned to c**p. I had chocolate for lunch and a fast food meal (1400+ calories  ) in the afternoon. I've been in a bad mood all day and I actually cried a little for no reason whatsoever when I got home from…

Do you log tea?
Sorry if this is a silly question, but I drink a lot of tea per day (regular or flavoured green tea or matcha, probably a litre or two every day). I do not use sugar nor any other sweeteners, just the tea and water. But finding the specific tea brands or their nutritional information can be a bit tricky so I tried adding…

Dry or cooked weight?
Hi, me again with logging questions. When measuring out food, should I enter the grams of the dry substance or after it has been cooked? I am steaming quinoa at the moment, the dry grains weighed 45 grams. Should I measure it again after it is done or just log the 45 grams?

No cook protein
I'm a lousy cook and preparing food is so tedious to me that sometimes I'd rather not eat than go through the bother of fixing up a meal. Which of course makes eating healthy quite bit more difficult. Luckily I have a understanding OH who usually prepares our main meal, but I can't go pestering him whenever I'm hungry or…
