Nothing worked for me until I finally decided and believed that I'm more important than food. That's a principle that I no longer compromise. Figure out what clicks for you and like PP said, one foot in front of the other. Get knocked down, get back up, over and over.

Agree with everyone else. Walking. Didn't care how long it took, just that I got it done. Try 15 minutes. Then try 20, etc. Then I started moving into swimming and water aerobics. Getting into day hiking now and kayaking. My new goal is really variety.

I'm doing this alone too. My hubs is great, but in the end, I'm the one with the jacked up relationship with food and the goals to get myself healthier. No one can do that, but me. MFP - all those likeminded people - that's the community for me.

Chicken fajitas but I don't eat the tortilla. I serve it over salad. Just sautee chicken with tri-colored peppers and onions with low sodium soy sauce. Top with light cheese and some avocado.

Going to assume you're already working an Endo. They should give you a referral to a dietician who can walk you through diet and carb control - how many carbs max to eat at each meal and snack. Every Monday unless I'm away on vacation and hit a two week span. The daily variances don't matter to me right now so I may change my weekly habit when I lose more weight, but not right now.

If you want to see what's what on your own, rest it, do the NSAIDs or another anti-inflammatory a few times a day, don't sleep on that side, and see what happens. If still bothered where movement is limited and pain persists, call an Ortho. Good luck!

I would do exactly what you described if I didn't find room to fit sweets into my day. I usually eek in some trail mix with M&Ms to get my crunchy sweet fix. 5' 9" and my goal is about 160. Lowest I've ever been is about 150 and I start to look unhealthy after that. I don't have a smaller build (take after my Dad more than my Mom). I got T&A - always have :smile:

I can gain 2 lbs just by opening my eyes I swear. Lots of variations in our diets and our bodies can cause some small gains even when we're doing things right. Just keep doing what you've been doing and ride it out!

I use Leslie Sansone for workouts at home right off youtube. Great way to start and I'm kind of klutzy so I had to have a routine that was easy to follow where I wouldn't break an ankle. :-) The leg lifts kill me. I curse her. But she has good videos and options for 1 mile on up.
