One decision at a time, one foot in front of the other.0

Nothing worked for me until I finally decided and believed that I'm more important than food. That's a principle that I no longer compromise. Figure out what clicks for you and like PP said, one foot in front of the other. Get knocked down, get back up, over and over.0

I watched a marathon... My 600lb Life on TLC rode bike to work that saturday!!0

I plan every meal in advance - in fact I'm about to plan my meals for the next few days. Having a clear gameplan keeps me on track, because all the hard decisions are made when I'm not hungry.0

Make a habit of logging on MFP everyday, no matter what. Baby steps!0

I'm focusing on the actions I can take on a daily basis instead of looking at the big picture.
Big picture = me needing to drop around 70 lbs. that's just overwhelming when I think about it.
So I plan my week -meals and workouts, I do my food prep, I log, I drink my water. That stuff I can do. And eventually, it will get me to the big picture goal.

Get a specific goal that involves both your emotions and your weight.
Get a plan. Identity and implement small measurable steps. Make a realistic timeline.
Plan some rewards a head of time.

For me it was deciding that I didnt want to be the fat version of me anymore. Tha tperson was unhappy and the only one who could sort it out was me. This had to stop:
always thinking I could be healthier slimmer
hating the way I looked
hating the way I felt
thinking about food all the time
not doing things because I felt too fat
my joints hurting and knowing I was getting worse
being depressed mostly because I was unable to live the way I wanted
always thinking 'if only I could lose the weight'
I decided only I could change it and if I didnt hurry up I would be too old to enjoy the benefits and it worked I lost 50lbs and feel great!!!!!!!0 -
You don't say if you're exercising, but that makes a big difference in how you feel about yourself. Even walking, if you can't or don't like anything else. Otherwise, as the others have said--just never quit. Keep trying, no matter what. Best.0
