Your tum is one of the more stubborn pals in weight loss. Try to not pay too much attention to that one spot and look at yourself overall. It'll shrink even slower if you focus on it. :)

It could be a number of things, depending on another number of things. For instance, how tall are you, what is your starting weight? Are you warming up properly before working out? Do you eat before you work-out, to fuel your body? Do you feel content at the the end of the day, or are you still peckish, because maybe you…

Well, personally:* The first and last few days towards a goal are hard-going but rewarding. * 50% of the challenge is in your mindset. Positive thinking + Hard work = Good outcome. * You don't have to compensate any of your favourite foods if you're tactful. * Even though you know you won't see immediate results, you spend…

My "cheat" days usually just involve me maxing to 1,400-1,500 calories instead of 1,200, but I make sure to do it on a day when I'm gyming.

When I was at my heaviest, it took me about 14-16 pounds to notice any difference, and I didn't really like it because I had that "punisher" mindset at the time. Most people actually pointed it out to me! In my most recent start-up, I lost 4lbs and I've noticed a change in my face, legs and an iddy-biddy alteration in my…

Thank you by the way! I appreciate the advice. :)

Hi all! I'm Emma, I'm 21. I've used MFP before and lost 2.5 stone, and then an additional 1 stone when I stopped using it. Now I'm back and want to shed the remaining weight - another 2 stone before the end of the year! I have the tall girl curse where you look smaller than what you are, but I want to prove that I can…

I'm up for this! Definitely need to shape up for the end of term

Hey! Day 2 (properly logging) too! You can add me if you like.

Hey hey! I live in South West London, and you can add me if you like (everyone, of course!)

Hey hey hey. I'm Emma, I'm 21 years old, 5'11'', a student and living in London. I aim to lose about 2 stone by the end of the year. While I can't really afford to eat dramatically well - curse the student life - I'm quite active and like to get involved in stuff. More than anything, I love making friends, so adding me…

Oh snap, nevermind. Just found how to do it properly. Thank you.

I remade it just now, but it's still saying the same thing? :weary:

Mine began when we got back the photographs from my friend's relative's wedding. Whereas I thought I could've looked a little nice that day... NOPE. I binned the dress immediately and joined the nearest gym.

You've done amazingly well to get where you are now, and you look wonderful as a result! I hope you're super proud of what you've done because everyone else is

I'm doing my first ever 5k for Race For Life at the beginning of June. Going to try my best to finish it in under 45 minutes considering I'm not the best runner in the world.

I was hit by a car last year because the guy fell asleep at the wheel as I was walking back to university, so at a pretty impressive speed. My hip and knees in particular were out of it for a while, but the nurses suggested I walk a lot, which I did, and I made sure to keep to a small amount of light strength training,…
