Try to eat closer to your TDEE and let exercise burn the calories to make the deficit. And without a scale, use measuring utensils to get a close guesstimate at your calorie consumption.

My sister is still breastfeeding and she's lost a lot of weight. She had to cutout dairy, soy and beef from her diet since Alex is allergic to that, so she slimmed down because a lot of 'quick treats' she would eat have dairy or soy. She also was putting him in a stroller and walking a mile everyday. Once she was able to…

Why do you want to lose it fast? I've found that if you lose it quickly, you gain it quickly. It's better to make little alterations to your lifestyle so you can adjust. Add in 30 minutes of exercise 3 times a week. Then cut down on snacking. Then swap out fast food for at home meals and so on. Think of it this way: how…

I always have moments where I'm fine without food and then the opposite for awhile. I do this about a week a month.

I'm 28 and 5'7" at 146lbs. I love superheroes, comic books (mainly the batman universe), I travel across states to go to conventions and do cosplays. My motto for training hard is 'What Would Batman Do?'
-
I'm 5'7" as well. I think I have 15lbs more to lose, but I love seeing what new things others are trying.

My counselor said I won't be able to get over these returning feelings if I don't release what caused them (I had a traumatic experience from 4-10 years old and have kept it a secret from my parents.) I use starving and self harm to mask internal pain because I can handle the physical pain better.

I work construction 14 hours a day/ 6 days a week that requires traveling long distances some times. I do a lot of at home workout challenges before bed. I did Insaniry for awhile, now I'm doing the downloadable app '30 day abs' challenge. The fact that they use the word 'challenge' keeps me motivated. I downloaded abs,…

I'm 5'7" and 150lbs. Aiming for about 130-135. Open diary and currently doing 30 day abs, squat, thighs, butt, push-up, arms, and cardio challenges. Next month will be doing Insanity Asylum, Body Beast, yoga and martial arts.

I'm a daily logger.

I did two rounds of insanity over winter break. I have asylum waiting for me this winter break. I loved my results from insanity. Take progress photos about every 2 weeks. It's fun seeing the results that way since I ended up hitting a long platuea where I wasn't dropping weight, but I was losing inches and toning up.
-
I'm a bit taller at 5'7" and I weigh 144lbs and would like to get to 130lbs. I did two rounds of Insanity and didn't lose too much weight until I upped my calorie intake to 1,900. With Insanity, you'll get amazing results, however, it may not show on the scale. I have abs, defined arms, and firmed up (went down from size…

I've had EDNOS for 18 years now (since I was 10), and it still comes and goes. Whenever I want food I ask 'why?' If I ate a substantial amount in the last hour or so, I know it's not real hunger. Then I have to figure out my state of mind: am I happy, mad, sad, or bored? Also, take a look at what you're craving: sweets-…

Redness will fade naturally over time. Embrace your differences. Even The Rock has stretch marks on his shoulders.

The hardest part about insanity is that I became bored doing the same videos after two weeks. Fifth week you do the same video six days in a row, and then the last month I was bored again after two weeks. But it feels really nice to say Ive completed it.

I work construction 14 hours a day without a break. By the time I get home, I either workout then cook dinner or dinner then workout. I usually fit in 40 minutes of HIIT, martial arts, or something using simple body weight exercises. If your feet hurt after work, stick to working out in the a.m. Or try yoga. That relieves…
-
I'll attempt this too. I usually drink a hard cider once or twice a week while cooking dinner, but I'm sure I can give up alcohol all month.
-
Awesome! I did 2 rounds of Insanity this year. It's a lot of fun, and it will kick you into shape, but the videos get a little stale towards the end of the month. Stick with it though.

I workout 6 days a week with Sunday's as a rest day.

I absolutely love batman anything/everything! I do cosplay at conventions (going to Wizard World in Pittsburg next month), I read comics every Sunday (only day off from construction job), and I'm an all around geeky goddess. When I workout, I repeat What Would Batman Do? It makes me push my hardest when I imagine Batman is…

Always trying to stay on track.

I get that. I just had my first appointment with a therapist last night. Had my mom call and pretend to be me to even make the appointment. If you want to avoid therapy, tryout yoga. It helped me a lot to clear the evil thoughts. I've had EDNOS for 17 years, and upping my calories fairly high helps me not worry about…

I think you lost motivation because your goal was for school. Now that you're back to school, your goal has no more time line. Maybe make the rest of your weightloss be for winter time when you see family?

I lost weight on my Xanax and Ativan, but the pills are habit forming. I ended up taking about 6 pills at a time to feel any effect after a few years. Easy to get addicted. I decided to avoid pills all together.

I was talking to a professional body builder on here and asked him how much I should eat to gain or retain muscle. He said a simple formula is 50g more than you weigh. It sounds like a lot, but it seems to be working. I've done some research on my own, and appears that we can only absorb 30g of protein at a time, so no…

I make dinners heavy on the veggies. Slice up peppers and onions, sauté them in a pan with just cooking spray, add whatever sauce you would like (I make a homemade sweet and spicy sauce, so that's only 30 calories.) pair that with baked salmon or grilled chicken and a serving of brown rice, whole meal is less than 400…

I've had anxiety all my life. I was hospitalized for a panic attack (just like my grandpa) because my chest was tight, my jaw and neck went numb, and my back had horrible pain. Plus, with two heart conditions, a heart attack isn't impossible. I have to agree that diet and exercise has helped me tremendously.
