  • I really like your idea about splitting it into servings! That seems like such a no-brainer now that you've mentioned it - thanks!
  • Hi Wreathy! Usually 2 tablespoons is for big, one pan meals where I'm cooking meat and veggies together. I'm a fan of the least amount if dishes possible. :) But, still, I wouldn't be eating all of that oil; especially cooking for two people.
  • I was focusing on the negative comments here last night and it really got me down. Going to focus on the positive today - it's a new day! Thank you everybody for sharing opinions, good and bad. I'm really enjoying reading the good ones this morning. :)
  • So, I'm not trying to diss on anybody else's goals. But seriously, do what you want for yourself and not to appease others or fit the "ideal" set forth by media outlets. I've seen it all to often with people I know around my weight that they set huge goals and when they don't reach them, they give up which is the worst…
  • Ugh. This is why I refrain from ever posting anything here. Make 1 mistake and everybody jumps you like a pack of wolves. So much negativity. I was in no way saying people shouldn't be thin and lean. I'm just sharing that that isn't my personal goal and it doesn't have to be everybody's goal. Looking for support and most…
  • I'm not condemning thin people in any way, shape, or form. I'm just saying what's on my mind. God the internet is a harsh place.
  • My point here was simply sharing how I feel. I'm not saying everybody should share my point of view. I'm not saying if that's what they want, people shouldn't strive to be thin. Just saying what's on my mind. Love yourself because I feel that's the most difficult part of the process.
  • May I ask what you did to quit smoking? I have tried several times. My longest was 3 months and went back to it due to stress. Now, with eating better and exercise, I've cut back a bit, but not sure how I feel about quitting entirely. As for the weight loss I wish you the best of luck! I've come across some pretty good…
  • Best of luck to you!! Try breaking that 50 lb goal into smaller goals. Per week/per month. That way it won't seem so daunting!! My start goal is 46lbs at a pace of 2lbs per week. Feel free to add me!
  • Any way you look at it, losing 30 lbs in one month is not healthy. You risk further health complications than any benefit you get from losing the weight.
