If you look at my hair you can see why. :p

Rabbitjb, I have a Charge and love it. My whole FitBit dash was green yesterday! :p

The only thing I hate about the whole thing is that I didn't do it sooner. Such a bummer that it's cold and rainy today because I want to go again.

Hey, this is awesome! Good for you. But like you said, it took 2 1/2 years of being consistent, and in that time you have put in the work studying and implementing the things you have learned. Congrats to you! To me, that is just as awesome as loosing the weight.

Mannnnn. LOL I remember when this stuff came out. One of my friends and I decided to look into it and once we read those possible "side effects", we were like, "Oh HELL no!!!!" We laughed all day, and every time we would see it on the shelf somewhere we would start laughing. I have enough digestive issues with my metformin…

FYI - A large Chili from Wendy's is only 250 cals!!!! this is my go-to if I don't have alot of cals left for the day - plus it's high in protein and filling.

LOL, y'all are a mess.

I don't know if there is something I eat every day. I don't think there is. Hmmmm, let me think about this and come back.

POW!!!!

I am still very new here - 35 days I think, and I am eating what I like in moderation and within my calorie allowance. I have lost 6 pounds since joining MFP. I'm not going to try any diets or work-outs that I know I will not keep up with. That's just me - I know it will be sabotage if I do. I like candy, cake, etc - but…

I feel your pain. :s My husband, 13 y/o daughter and 17 y/o son are all healthy and slim. My son plays football and can heat anything he wants because he's always working out and going to practice or weight lifting. My daughter is petite and can eat what she wants and my husband works for FedEx in shipping & receiving and…

Oh, Also check Walmart. They are both in the sporting good section and the cell phone section. When I saw them in walmart, they didn't have the actual product hanging up, but the cardboard picture card thing that you take to the register to purchase the product. Good luck!

Also try Bed, Bath & Beyond. I got my Charge (not Charge HR) there, and they had all kinds in there when I got mine. I was even able to use my "20% off one item coupon" when I bought it.

Wow, hero you say? Nah, just new to MFP and even newer to FitBit. BUT, I did figure out how to sync the two. This is exactly what I need to help me make progress and it's awesome. About a week ago I wanted to hit that 10 floor goal, so I would go up and down the steps at home during commercial breaks on TV. Then it became…

Oooooh, thanks! I'm going to try it tonight.

:p :p :p

A-HA!!!!! No, I have not been doing this. Didn't even know it was an option. Ok, how do I put my Charge into "Activity mode"?

^^^This! I do have a certain goal weight and BMI in mind, but if I start to look sick or unhealthy or generally spooky-crazy before I get there, then screw that! I'm not even sure how accurate the BMI thing even is sometimes. It's based on height/weight, right? Well, what about body builders who weigh lots, but have little…

Uhhhhm, for real? Wow. I'm sure that with your OB looking at your unique situation, he/she will do what is in the best interest of you and your baby. I do have a personal friend who was in your same predicament and she ended up losing weight during her pregnancy because she stayed active, ate healthy and had a great…

That's a good question/thread topic. I don't have a real vacation (week or more away) in my sights for some years. I am going to TX for a few days in April and I will be logging. Honestly, whether I make good choices or not, I think I am one of those people who needs to log every day. I don't think I can trust myself not…

I've only seen my FitBit recognize my "walking" as being active. It hasn't yet recognized my work-outs or even playing the Wii. Could that be because I have my FitBit on my non-dominant wrist and the Wii on my dominant wrist? I log my Wii playing time since my FitBit does not. I don't think I'm doubling up here because I…

This thread is soooo hilarious! :p I had a friend who swore that adding chia seeds to her yogurt (and other foods) would fill her up and cut back on hunger to help her lose weight. So, when it wasn't happening fast enough for her she upped the amount of chia seeds. Well, she ate so many that she couldn't leave her house…

Pooch, hmph. I've almost given up on it. I think it's just a part of me - especially after 4 kids, one being a c-section. That c-section scar just helps the pooch be more noticeable in my opinion. I'm going to lose weight slow and steady and see where I am in about 18-24 months. I'd love to get a tummy tuck, but with all…

Mine does the same thing. Early AM, FitBit immediately takes away about 90 of my cals. I don't mind it, because my goal then is to earn them back. It's been hard with the frigid temps lately, so doing flights of stairs in my house has been helpful with getting me over the hump.

I've had my FitBit Charge for about 2 weeks and love it. If you are trying to sync your FitBit to MFP, you have to go into your diary settings here on MFP and check the box to allow for negative cals/calucualtions, or something like that it will say. Beware, if you are not moving enough, it will DEDUCT cals from your daily…

I think MFP gives a "forecasted" amount of calorie burn and FitBit gives a real-time cal burn. I think that's part of the problem. To be on the safe side, I always go with who gives me the least amount of cal allowance. Still would like to see more replies though.

I've heard this too. Waiting on replies.......

It's not easy to ignore those cravings. When I'm "on va-cay", or shortly before I go, I crave food & junk something fierce. Trying to drink more water helps me alot. I had one bad day this month and I was able to correct it with a work-out when I got home. I keep a medium bag of M&M's in my desk at work and I eat no more…

Waiting for responses on this. I have a FitBit Charge and have not yet experienced this, but am anxious to see replies just in case.
