I have tried a few variations eg strawberries instead of banana or coconut water instead of milk, but tend to stick with the same, I tried some of the green smoothies but found them too gross!

I could happily research recipes all day! I like to do banana, protein powder, coconut milk, then add some oats if I need something more substantial and maybe some chia seeds or peanut butter. The possibilities are endless!

Thank you both! That's a great thread markiend! I think I need to recomp then as I'd like to stay at same weight and reduce bf%. I guess I was hoping that I'd see results quicker but the thread suggests it can take months or years!

I'm 35, 5'6" and 128lb ish! The online bf calculator put me at 26% desperate to reduce it!!

I would advise if you do get into running is to have a gait analysis done, the right shoes make all the difference!

How do you all know know what to take?! Do you see via food diary what you're missing and do your own research or see a nutritionist or something?

Would chia seeds work? I use them in my granola but that is sweet rather than savoury...

Do these supplements help?I wouldn't know where to start with them! It was hard enough finding a lactose free protein powder that didn't taste revolting!

I use a protein powder, does that count? I have bear grylls because he's hot! And because its vegan! And I use it because I struggle to get enough calories and protein into my diet so its useful in that respect and also good for recovery so I've heard!

Icequeen07 I'm exactly the same, terrified of gaining any of the weight that I've lost but needing to consume enough to fuel my workouts and get lean! I'm still struggling with that.
