I agree that facial expression are a key to communication. But I also know that dead people don't have a very pleasant expressions and they don't communicate at all either; so you probably don't want your son to becoming accustomed to that.

Yes indeed, specially due to my age. The fitness center in my community open up last month but my husband and I didn't go. We were very apprehensive and neither of us like to workout with masks but, we feel worry without one. Now the fitness center is closed so I have to do workouts at home. I don't like it a bit!

@middlehaitch My heart aches for you Heather. It must be very hard to be away from a love one in dire health situation. That is my fear right now, that my husband or I get COVID and that we can not be together holding hands comforting each other, or God for bit taking the last breath alone. And I feel the same about all…

Got to a HOT COVID-19 city/state and ask for a tour of ICU units. Tell them that you think that it is all over-hyped so you need to see for yourself if people are really hooked to ventilators and probably dying.

It can happen to the young and healthy too. Don't fool yourself. Wear a mask or stay home. Who knows how many people she probably infected before she went to the hospital. 24-year-old who beat Covid-19 after nearly 80 days in a hospital says she regrets not wearing a mask -…

I don't know. I stopped worrying about that long time ago since I don't log them. When I do track exercises, I only enter the time spent exercising. Never had a fitness tracker either.

I had a dream (actually a nightmare), while back where I opened the front door and the virus was trying to get in. I don't remember actually seeing it with its spike protein and all in the dream, but it was the "idea and a ghostly presence" in my dreams telling me that it was there. Awful!! I had been talking with some…

Yes, I have. Mostly in our home- office where he keeps a lot of papers that should be discarded/shed, and also in the garage. The rest of the house is in perfect order because I exert a dictatorial control, and honestly, he doesn't like disorganization or mess in the rooms. I wish he had the same attitude for the office…

I am posting this to bring some joy and faith in humanity. One voice coming from thousands of singers across the globe. Hope, faith, and like somebody posted no color, no race, no gender, just people and love. Enjoy. Here's the YouTube link to "Sing Gently" - 3 minutes of song, 7 minutes of credits. 17,572 singers from 129…

I am mostly at home since due to my age I am under the high risk category- even without underlying health conditions. I very, very seldom go inside a store, and when I do, I wear my mask and the same at doctor's appointments or outdoors even if the area is not crowded. I don't wear a mask inside my car or in the house,…

Nope, I/we don't need that. It will not help; forget about it and just count calories and exercise. Good luck.

Minimal, few, low calories yes. Zero calories NO. They do exist and we can see them when we look at ourselves in the mirror :#

@corinasue1143 You are welcome!! Back on page 302 I posted some links of interest few weeks ago. At the bottom of this post is one of them explaining how COVID-19 affected Richard Quest. He is not the only one feeling the "leftovers" of the virus. Many people on line (and I am sure on FB too but I am not a member), have…

Would these statements make any difference to some people? I hope so :'( https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/22/entertainment/anna-camp-coronavirus/index.html Hi friends... I felt it was my responsibility to share that I ended up getting Covid-19. I have since tested negative, but I was extremely sick for over three weeks and…

I got my hair cut the middle of February. It was a very short cut, not what I like but what I needed because I had my right arm in a cast. I am glad that I did it because I managed to keep the hair under control for the last 5 months. The hair salon was open last month but I let it got and by the time that I was ready, it…

@ReenieHJ Just check your bill and make sure that you were not charged for a service not rendered. Just like @Theoldguy1 I got the full dental cleaning treatment. The receptionist met me in the parking lot for an ask and answer questionnaire. She took my temp inside the office and gave me a small paper cup with an…

I was taking with my husband last night about that police reality show called "Running Scare," or something like that. The cops would take teens in trouble to the jails, where the inmates would talk to the teens to explain in a harsh way, what a life of crime resulted on, and what the reality of living incarcerated was. I…

@GaleHawkins If that couple had not gotten a test before visiting family, they would have infected all of them. Good for them for getting the test, but bad for even thinking in visiting anybody. Just stay home (I know ii is hard), so everybody will be safer and the spread of the virus more controlled. In my area UPS,…

@rheddmobile The UV used used for disinfection is UV "C" not UV A or B (different wave length). It is the same kind of equipment used in the hospitals ORs between surgeries. Does UV light kill the new coronavirus? https://www.msn.com/en-gb/health/medical/does-uv-light-kill-the-new-coronavirus/ar-BB16DH58

Upsetting, sad, hard to accept and believe. At this point I think that people really want to get sick, make other people sick, or kill themselves and the rest of the world. The lack of empathy and respect for human life and well being, and the tremendous amount of selfishness and stupidity are pathetic and insulting, and…

The gyms in CA closed - again - this past Monday. They were open for a little over a month but I never went back because I don't think that they are safe, not matter the precautions, modifications or changes done to the facility. I am too old to take chances. I am doing some home-workouts; something that I dislike…
