I do because I "close" the kitchen at around 8PM, sooner if possible. I don't like to eat late at night or just before going to bed, I never did.

Thank you!

@MADgical72 and @rubyslipperss1 Did you warm up the flat bread before adding the ingredients or did you cook everything at the same time? Both recipes sound good for a menu change, so thank you for posting.

I only wrote in my comment what I read, so I am not wrong. The person that wrote the article probably is, but I don't care. I do Yoga, I love Yoga, and I meditate. Signed also a Catholic but not a practicing one.

You can scan a product if you use the MFP app on your phone. If you use the web version/PC (like I do), then scanning is not possible.

I don't log while eating out, on vacation, etc. Not worthy to me, because over or under estimating will not make a difference. I use my wits to eat healthy and keep an eye on my portions. It works for me, but we are all different.

Check this link. At the bottom of the page you will find a chart in kilojoules and the equivalent in calories. You may paste and copy the information in a word document , print it, and have it ready for future use. Remember that Dr. Google is you best friend. He knows everything!…

Nope, I will not buy or use a pocket scale. I don't consider a polite action to take a food scale to a friends house or to a restaurant for that matter. However, if it works for you and your friend doesn't mind, go for it.

If her place of work has a rule of not wearing any electronics (it may be a reason for that), the OP may get in trouble for disobeying or ignoring company policies, if cought. I don't think that is nice to recommend that she violates those rules.

I like to work by myself and do my own workouts.

This is totally out of the content of this thread (I apologize for that), and I know that I will be slammed for posting, but at my age I don't give a.... It is very sad when in a country like the US, considered the beacon of everything, a person with health problems can't go to a clinic or to see a doctor due to the cost…

Can you go to an Urgent Care Clinic, even if you have to pay out of pocket? I know that this approach may not be what you want, money wise, but it would be cheaper than being taken to the ER with strep cough or pneumonia. For the fever take acetaminophen every 4 to 6 hours, depending on how high your fever goes. Coricidin…

I would do that with a backpack or a small luggage, but not with a pot full of food. No way Jose!

When I enter a recipe in the recipe section, and this applies mostly to stews, chilis and soups, I determine that it will be for 6 servings of 250grams each. If at the end the total is less than 1500gr (250x6), then the last portion would be a fraction of 1. If the recipe is more than 1500 grams, then I edit the servings…

I never put a pot on my kitchen scale, and I am not going to use my bathroom scale for that either. I make all my portions 250gram per serving, regardless of the total amount. For me that is easier and less cumbersome.

The title and posting of the OP is so out of place and border line insulting that I refrain from really answering her question. What is next: what a real woman or a real man eat...? Besides I am a robot that eats, salmon, tilapia, kale, all kind of greens and fruits, quinoa (sometimes), and good healthy stuff. All the same…

Just a regular day in my house since the kids are all grown up with their own families, and they don't live near by. Maybe I can convince my husband to do a BBQ for the two of us. Restaurants get very crowded during the holidays and we don't do buffets or brunches.

It is necessary for my tummy and that is the only thing important to me. I eat a light breakfast everyday because I am hungry in the AM since I have been "fasting" for 12 hours or more (I don't snack at bed time). I would have a hard time managing my morning hours without some good combination of carbs, protein and healthy…

I want to add that if I ever feel like having something sweet at the end of the day, like after dinner, I get a dry prune or a dry apricot. They are quite sweet for my taste so one of either of them is really satisfying for me, and the fiber really "activates" my GI track the next day :#

All my carbs and sugars come from vegetables and fruits, and added complex carbs from roots vegetables and beans on occasion. I am a low carb eater because that is what I like and makes me feel better. But I don't worry if on occasion I go higher. I don't have a sweet tooth so deserts or any kind and/or chocolate are a…

1) do you eat a lot just before your workouts or you don't eat enough during the day to fuel your workouts? 2) do you exert yourself too much or are you being pushed by the trainer to unrealistic expectations and workouts? 3) are you dehydrated or are you drinking too much water on an empty stomach? 4) are you suffering…

I am 75 years old, and I started to have vision problems in second grade. Wore glasses on and off for my nearsighted since I was a child. As I got older trying to read without glasses was difficult, but I got better at long distance. I wear bifocals contact lenses but I also have glasses with progressive lenses. When I…

You should seek medical help and request from your doctor a full blood &Thyroid panel test. Good luck to you.

My husband doesn't mind and he is used to it, but he doesn't use it when he prepares breakfast. I don't weigh things when I have people over, mostly because I don't want to start a discussion (or an argument) about portion control, and because I find it cumbersome. Sometimes I even remove the scale from my counter top and…

I don't use any tech to monitor my steps or my exercises, but I have a keen interest in staying active and I am very aware and conscious of my daily and fitness activities. No need to have a gadget to be and stay healthy.
