My husband is getting his first jab this coming Saturday, and I just scheduled mine for next Tuesday, Feb 02 in the afternoon. Interesting that when we were children we used to "run" away from vaccines and shots, and now we are pleading for one.... o:)

This is worrisome Everyday activities are more dangerous now that new Covid-19 variants are circulating, expert says ..."Health officials are "extremely" worried about the new Covid-19 variants that have been detected in the US and what they could mean over the coming months, one expert said Monday night." "We've seen what…

I personally think that it is a mistake to lift the restrictions so soon. People don't know how to moderate themselves and police and we are still not out of the woods. He should have kept them for a couple of more weeks to give the chance for more people to be vaccinated. The demand for vaccination is greater than the…

I came across these articles and I thought about this thread. Maybe somebody can relate to what is written and even get some ideas. I didn't read them to completion yet, but here they go: How to Spend Less Time Cleaning: My Minimalist Cleaning Routines simplyfiercely.com…

Agree. However if you wear a lot of sunscreen you will not absorb the sun or synthesize vitamin D. The end result will be the same no matter the language or process.
-
The bolded part is the problem. If you want to absorb vit D thru the sun, you need to expose your extremities for about 15 or 20 without sunscreen. Preferable early in the morning or late in the afternoon when the risk of sunburn is less. Using sunscreen with an SPF of 8 cuts the amount of vitamin absorbed from the sun by…

Democracy and hope are back! I am grateful for my husband of almost 55 years for always being by my side, and for his unconditional love and respect.

Season the chicken (breasts or thighs all skinless), with a little bit of salt, lemon-pepper seasoning and paprika. Marinate it in the fridge for few hours, if possible. Saute in a frying pan coated with hot melted butter. Add some cooking wine or BBQ sauce, if needed. Eat and enjoy!

When I remember and that is not very often, so maybe once a week. In maintenance going to 11 years, so I go this :) .

@ReenieHJ FYI. We are all different individuals so not everybody will have the same side effect. However, it is good to know so we don't worry because they are treatable, short lived, and expected. Even if they suck!…

We need to get people vaccinated ASAP! We need herd immunity. U.S. potentially facing ‘perpetual infection’ of Covid in spring as new variants spread, warns Dr. Scott Gottlieb “If we can’t get more protective immunity into the population, we could be facing a situation where we have, sort of, a perpetual infection heading…

Good ideas and resolution ladies. Great for the new year, and to take our minds away from all the heart breaking crap that is going around. Keep up the good work! <3

Keep your appointment. I had an ENT f/up scheduled for 12/31/2020 and I was planning to cancel it but I noticed that my chronic headaches were different and I had lots of postnasal drips. The doctor did a deep (very, very deep), nostril examination and found heavy yellowish almost green mucus wayyy up my sinuses (sorry for…

Sad, very sad that people/country puts more emphasis in celebrating a sport or a team than celebrating life and health. With this kind of behavior and attitude we are never going to conquer this pandemic. Unless we are all dead! The longer the virus is around, the more chances it has to mutate. Fans crowd Tuscaloosa bars…

I think that this information should be passed around. Too many people may not understand the role and limitations of the two vaccines approved by the FDA (emergency use) on December 2020. Many grandparents have one goal in mind this winter: Get vaccinated so they can see their children and grandchildren again. But is that…

@jenilla1 I don't know in what part of California do you live, but I am in S. California in the desert area and all bars and restaurants are closed to indoor and outdoor dining (only take out or delivery is allowed). Some have try to violate the order and they were fined, and had to close. Hair and nail salons, massages,…

Mike do you know that the governor asks people from other states or countries NOT to come to California? I don't know how things are in Arizona, but California is not safe right now, unlesds not COVID safe. Our hospitals and ICUs capacity are maxed out. Nope! My knees and lower back don't like step goals. I can't walk every day anymore; three times a week is my normal and four times a week my max, although I may pay the price later on if I push myself too much. It sucks, but I can't do much about it. Good luck with your goals!

He is in jail and I hope that he gets what ever license he has revoked for life, and stays in jail for a long time. His actions in my book, were criminal. I am glad that the FBI is also involved.
