Neither.Too sweet and gooey :s

It is not only your height, it is your body composition and frame that also counts. Some people are more petite with small bones, others have heavier/bigger bone structure so they can carry more weight and still feel and look good. As others said it is up to you. Plan for small loses of 20 or 25lbs at the time and take it…

Either without the syrup. At home I toast Eggo Low Fat and whole grain, I don't make wafflers or pancakes. If I am having breakfast in a restaurant, I will ask for wheat toast unless I can share the pancakes with somebody. I can't eat more than one.

I am also pretty consistent with weighing my food when I cook at home, but mostly because I am keeping track of my macros, specially protein and carbs, and because most of my meals need to go in the recipe builder. But I admit that sometimes I like to keep amounts in my head, rather than using a piece of paper, so at the…

Because this site preaches: "it is life style change," so should that be interpreted that the life style change means hauling your scale all over town? Allergies are a serious health problem to be considered and respected, but weighing everything that goes in our mouth, is somebody that we choose to do. No weighing our…

In my opinion bringing a scale to somebody house (relative, friend or foe), is totally out of place and border line insulting. I use a scale at home myself, but I would never take one with me if I am invited to somebody's house for dinner or lunch, or what ever, and I wouldn't appreciate a guest weighing their food at my…

I am also an outlier like @zoink66. I don't weigh my food at all or log much when I am on vacation because I don't use the app; I only log in the MFP database using my husband's laptop at the end of the day. I don't estimate anything because I think that it is a waste of my time and a very ineffective way of counting…

I read your post and I wanted to look at my wedding pictures too until I realized that had very few of them and only taken at the church. I see in those pictures a very young and very small bride barely 5 feet and less than a 100lbs, totally unaware of what life had already prepared for her but happy to be forever with the…

Exactly OP! and that is why I don't have/want a fitness tracker and I don't eat my exercises calories unless I am hungry or losing more weight. If the scale gives me a satisfactory number and my clothes fit good, I am happy camper. :)

No!!!

Yes and no. I only had about 14lbs to lose at the end of 2009 and by the time that I joined MFP I had already lost 6 lbs without counting calories. I lost the rest and got to maintenance by just measuring, estimating, and even using some generic entries in this database. I didn't get a food scale until I reached…

Nothing because it is part of my HOA and open 6AM to 8PM Monday-Sunday (we have two fitness centers). I pay for Pilates and Yoga $30 a month for unlimited classes and only if I am planning to attend a lot of classes; if not, I pay $5 per class.

We don't correct spelling in MFP. It is not nice and maybe even against the rules.
-
Yes, it is unusual but possible. I have a couple of friends that started with menopausal symptoms in the mid 20s.
-
Not really. I will if it is mostly fat, but it will not if its mostly glandular.

Some people like myself, make personal notes in the comment section of their food and exercise diaries that don't like to share with others. So as you said in the bolded section of your posting, I/we see no need to share any of that with perfect strangers.
-
No, I don't. By choice I have no friends in MFP and my profile, food and exercise diaries are private.

I have been maintaining for almost 6 years, including a 6 month hiatus from MFP a couple of years ago. When on vacation I also log sporadically and not too accurately because I don’t 'carry with me a kitchen scale and most of the time I don’t log my food when eating out unless the restaurants have the nutritional…

Exactly! Eat to live and NOT live to eat.

Looks very nice and I will try it because I like cabbage a lot. My mother used to make something like this and she used sweet potatoes chunks (probably already cooked) and beef stew meat instead of ground beef. I think that both kind of meat would be great.

OP you had great answers already so I only want to add that, sometimes we need to let go of our love ones possessions and just keep the sweet memories of their lives in our hearts and minds. Maybe this move and the decision of what to do with your sister's clothes is a way to get over or grief of two years. Your sister's…

Yeap, but that only works if the place has the menu and the nutritional value on line and if you know in advance where are you going to eat. Life is not that simple or predictable. Just saying...

NO!!!!

Nope, always small and petite. My parents cooked well balanced meals with lots of vegetables and fresh fruit and everything was home made, we couldn't afford eating out.
-
I eat protein with every meal, if I don't and I eat mostly carbs, I would fall asleep in the middle of the day. Oatmeal is something that is not in my list. For breakfast: scramble egg whites with or without added eggs, or a cheese omelet; a whole grain English muffin or whole wheat toast with cheese, fage or cottage…

If you don't REALLY want to break your rules, then don't do it. It is up to you. You can still enjoy your vacation without stuffing yourself with heavy meals, desert and drinks. Use your will power and common sense and take it from there. You are the only one that can decide what is the best approach for YOU. I personally…

It is up to the person since nobody is really sedentary unless they are laying in a hospital bed or in a wheel chair. My activity in MFP is set to active because although I don't work, I am moving around all the time doing things in the house, garden, shopping etc. I log my exercise calories just for the heck of but mostly…

And why do you have to post that; who cares? Please girl keep it for yourself and be a little more private. >:)
