Thanks so much for the help. I’ve set my goal to 2000 and then add 500 for bf but am trying my best to keep below. So then at the weekend I can have a little treat if out with family.

Hey everyone, I’m starting mfp as of tomorrow after having a baby 10 weeks ago. Not sure how to count for the fact that I’m breastfeeding though (don’t want to lose my supply). Any help, ideas and support would be much appreciated. Feel free to add me if anyone wants a buddy for this journey we share.

I usually only pay attention to the cals I'm consuming, but I want to hit the stats as I would like to be as healthy as possible along side the weight loss.

Firstly, I just don't have the confidence to join a gym at the moment. And secondly I am still getting over a knee injury so need to be careful because, even walking on it for to long causes pain and swelling again which has me stuck with it elevated for days.

Oh thanks a lot I will take a look at that. Yes I plan to add exercise but would like to lose some weight first and want to get the eating healthy sorted, instead of trying to do everything at once and then (like many time before) I find I have took on to much... I'm going for the small steps = life long success this time.

So I don't need to alter the fat? Also I can therefore do 35% protein and just 40% carbs, remembering that I currently dont exercise.

Could somebody please work out my macros, I'm 5"11 and 255lbs with an aim of losing 100lbs but I'm not very active at the moment so mfp says I need 1465 cals a day, so do I aim to eat 465 cals of protein per day?

That's a fantastic aides!! I am now also going to set myself the same challenge, and also to stay below my calorie goal as I don't do much exercise at the moment. It's a good month to start too as it's the shortest... Anyone else joining us?

I know where your coming from there, every time I lose so much and start feeling good about myself I end up slipping off track (love to eat out, which doesn't help)... This time I'm finding it hard getting on track so I'm really glad of all the support. You will have to add me mind as I don't seem to be able to do it.
