Mint Chip. Anybody find it freezes way harder than regular icecream? Mine is rock solid, lol. I burn a few extra calories trying to spoon out a serving so that's a plus :D

I've already gotten into it with my kids' school also. The lunch aides (not certified nutritionists, not remotely qualified in any way, shape or form) are hovering over the kids, looking at their lunches, questioning their choices, etc. etc. They are also giving out terrible advice. I pick something not over-the-top in calories (i.e., something deep-fried and covered in cheese). I pick a similar entry in the database and just pick the highest calorie option. I'd rather overestimate and then shave off some calories daily for the rest of the week.

I take activated charcoal for gas, lol. Doesn't do anything for weight loss though.

Do you cook in oil? Cooking veggies in olive oil can help add calories.

I watch my sugar and carbs but ONLY because they are personally trigger foods for me, not because I believe they are "bad" or hurt my weight loss. I just lose my self control when I have too much. Plus it does something whacky to my hormones. But I still work in some treats here and there so that I don't end up binging.

She has a show out so there are no recent pictures of her online. She had weight loss surgery and is now working out with trainers so I believe the end result will be her much much slimmer. Yes, I'm shamelessly watching, lol.

I received these in one of those sample crate thingies (technical term). They were yummy but they didn't do squat to stop me from eating. Plus the chocolate coating just triggered more cravings, haha. Toothpaste doesn't work for me either though. If my compulsion to eat is there, I'm going to eat regardless.

Just for kicks one time, I logged a copycat homemade recipe for some of my favorite frozen meals. The sodium was close enough to ease any concerns I had over eating them.

No, you are correct. Counting calories can be a lifestyle. A "diet" is usually something people do in the short term to lose the weight and then completely abandon.
