I usually get the Artisan Chicken sandwich, no fries. It's still a lot of calories, but not as many as say a Big Mac. I actually hadn't had a Big Mac for about a year and broke down and ordered one a few weeks ago. It was horrible, so tasteless. I can't imagine how I used to like those things.

I make something similar to the above as a cheese ball. Dried beef chopped up, cream cheese, 1 t. Worcestershire sauce, and chopped onion. We spread it on crackers. Make it the night before and refrigerate. It travels very well.

I love walking outside, but when the weather is just too bad I walk inside on the treadmill. You actually use muscles differently when you walk outside than you do on the treadmill, per my podiatrist.

Not long ago, we did chicken kabobs and corn on the cob over the fire while camping. Last time, I took a big bag of raw veggies to snack on. I even did stir-fry veggies over the campfire once using a disposable grill rack.

If you are afraid to leave it cooking while gone, maybe do a trial run on a day when you're home to watch it. I couldn't live without my slow cooker. We use it mostly for cooking roasts or BBQ ribs, but I've made all kinds of stews and soups in it too. Also, invest in some of those slow cooker liners to help with clean up.

That's why my podiatrist told me to stop using the treadmill. It was causing a strain on the leg muscles.

I had PF for about a year. I tried all the things recommended with no relief. I finally went to the podiatrist where he had custom shoe inserts made for me. They helped a lot, but I still had pain. I favor boneless chicken thighs also. They have much more flavor than chicken breasts.

I hate to workout too, at first. Once I get out there and start, I feel so much better and have more energy. I have to make myself do it, but the rewards are worth it.

I don't use any sauce. I stir fry the veggies with some olive oil and then add the already cooked chopped chicken pieces to crisp them up a bit.

My favorites are the Leslie Sansone walking videos. She has DVD's, but you can see some of her workouts on YouTube. I use alternate between a DVD and her YouTube videos for a variety.
