Can't hang my clothes on my kettlebell however, so it's completely different.

No way for McDonald's.

Here is what starvation mode looks like:

How does a Nordic Track resemble a kettlebell? Enquiring minds want to know.
-
Sometimes you just have to be hungry. Exercise usually helps with that.

Nope, the lettuce wasn't wilted. It was liquid. The ride home was enough to cool the chicken.

I love the Fresh Express lettuce. I don't eat it like chips (although that's certainly a great idea worth considering!), but mix it up with avocado, sliced almonds, mandarin oranges, and the canned French fried onions that usually go with green bean casseroles. No salad dressing needed.

I bought a $50.00 kettlebell and hardly ever use it.

The southwest grilled chicken salad is exactly what literally melted in my refrigerator overnight.

I have a friend whose college student son bought a month's supply so that he wouldn't have to take time between his full-time job and full-time college to eat. Three-minute prep and full daily nutrition is what sold him. Of course, he just ordered it, and hasn't started the program yet. He's 19 and loves to eat, so I doubt…

I stopped eating at McDonald's when the salad I bought on a Friday night to eat for lunch at an all day seminar the next day was like spinach soup when I took it out of the refrigerator the next morning. Seems that it LOOKS fresh, but it isn't, and disintegrates within about 10-12 hours (McDonald's version is that it has a…

Alcohol not only has a ton of calories, but tends to make you move less and eat more.

Yep.

That's a great idea, but you don't have to wait until you are at your goal weight! Fit it in the next day or two or three, that is, if you still want it by then. Besides, if you have the mentality that once you are at your goal weight, you can eat whatever you want, guess what. You'll gain every pound you worked so hard to…

I ate a LOT today!

It's okay - it doesn't go by flags unless there is substance

This is a CONFESSION thread.

I don't blame you! Politics is a hot place to be these days!

It's a great place to visit, but way too hot to live there!

Is anyone here from Louisiana?

Take it one day at a time. You'll do it as long as you are determined! I have a dress as well that I will fit into into sooner or later. When I first bought it, I couldn't pull it up past my thighs. Then I could, but couldn't even start to zip it. Then, with my daughter's help, we could get it zipped about halfway up.…

Is that during a certain time frame, or total no matter what time frame? If I walked a mile in half an hour and stopped, or if I walked a mile in 20 minutes and stopped for ten minutes, or if I jogged a mile in 15 minutes and stopped for 15 minutes, or if I ran a mile in 10 minutes and stopped for 20 minutes, running the…

Eat a very light breakfast (less than 150 calories, such as Greek yogurt and a small banana - or just skip it altogether) and eat a turkey burger; your boss won't even notice if you don't eat chips. That is very sweet of him to do that, which tells me he respects that you are on a program to lose weight. Watermelon isn't…

Liver is very unhealthy for me.

I've heard mixed reviews, most of them bad, about MapMyRun.

So what did your physics professor say burned more calories? Running or walking a mile? I'd really like to know, as it has always been my contention (from a high school gym teacher many, many years ago) that a mile is a mile whether you walk slow, walk fast, jog, or run. Thanks!

Sometimes it's hard for me to consume more than 1,000 or so calories a day because I've become very astute at knowing what low cal foods fill me up. Maybe eat some more calorie dense foods that are good for you, such as avocados and nuts?
-
Shelled pistachios. Taking them out of their shells burns a lot of calories.

I changed it from tracking sugar to tracking fiber, which is a lot more important to me.
