Didn't realize I was judging, sorry.

Four ounces is a lot of ice cream.

Is there a walking trail nearby which marks quarter miles? If so, start trying to run a quarter mile. Go as far as you can, then quit and walk Continue. When you can run a quarter mile, then start trying to run half a mile. Go as far as you can, then quit and walk. Continue. Do this every day. By February, it should be a…

Oh, no, you go where hammerhead sharks live?

If a hurricane is on the way, you will be more hungry; hence, you should stock up on canned goods and other non-refrigerated necessities. Also fill your bathtub with water. Do all of this and at the end of the day, when the hurricane arrives, get the hell out of dodge in your car which hopefully has a full tank of gas.

Do fish really drink water? Or do they breathe it? It's been way too long since I was in high school . . .

MFP tends to over-estimate calories burned by exercise. When I log (which hasn't been often lately!), I wait until I have finished for the day to enter calories burned. And I underestimate them. I'll say "60 minutes walking at 3 mph" when I know I've walked further in 75 minutes. A lot of people change their exercise to 1…

Of course if you gain weight on this, it isn't working very well.

Try popping the bubbles it makes. Liquid spills out like crazy.

Eat fruit, be healthy, cut down on junk food, and stay within your caloric range.

Way back when, before I was fat (as I am now), after I had my babies and was overweight, I was doing 1,000 calories a day for five or six weeks until I snapped back in shape. I am much older now and fortunately not able to have babies any longer, but 1200 - 1500 calories a day is reasonable depending upon your size. More…

1200 calories is fine for me. I am 5' 2".
-
1200 deficit? Really? That means you would have to eat 2400 calories and burn 1200 of them? Or does it mean you eat and burn 1200 calories a day? I'm confused, please help me.

Don't see any alcohol on OP's diary either.

OP's diary looks fine to me.

Does this mean that I get to eat more calories to avoid Ketosis and Starvation Mode?

I've never held onto the treadmill, but until I researched it, didn't realize that doing so contributes to numerous health issues.

I usually see it the other way, people leaning forward and hanging onto the front of the TM while doing 15 incline.

If you exercise properly and don't overdo it every day, there is no reason to take a rest day. Unless you observe the Sabbath.
-
You burn more calories doing the same exercising when it's cold (whether weather or air conditioning) because the main function of calories is to keep your body warm. Simple as that.

I asked the same question. There is no entry for kettle bells, so I just enter it as strength training.
-
Absolutely! You're making a special effort; not just walking to your car to go to the grocery store!

I'm only a few pounds heavier than you, but wearing a size 14. I wear a size six at 110 pounds.

If we did, I missed it. Or maybe contributed. It gets so confuzzzling!

I am 5'2" and dropped from just barely under 170 to 145, and need to go to 110. For some reason (laziness) I've been up and down. Need to motivate myself to get going again!!!!

Thanks.

Not to mention that it is against MFP's TOS.

I would really be interested in learning how sugars are not natural. So far, no real answer. So tired of this! Added sugar just means more sugar is added to the sugar that was already there (or not there). I changed my sugar macro to fiber, which is much more important to me. Sugar (even added sugar) and salt (aka sodium)…
