Sure. Hike in the mountains for 30 days, at the rate of 15 to 20 miles a day, and only eat about 2500 calories. You can do it!

A pound a day is a 3,500 calorie deficit. So . . . if you're hiking in the mountains and burning 6500 calories a day but only eating 3000 calories, then you are definitely losing a pound a day.

I eat the same foods all the time as well. I don't live to eat, but eat to live. Just have to keep eating a little bit less!

It's actually very simple. Eat less, move more. Works every time, and MFP gives you all the tools to work with.

I love my gloves! I actually have three pairs of them, as in the morning they get very wet and dirty so I have two replacement pairs.

I used to vomit when my mother held my hair in one and and forced liver down my throat with the other. Was I allergic? Nope, just didn't like it.

If you can't eat, how is weight loss a problem? Seems like weight gain would be the problem.

Are your walks included in your putting around? Or in addition to? If you are taking away from your daily activity to walk several miles, then yes, include that in you exercise. I've seen too many cases where someone working at Walmart wears a fitbit and counts all those calories as additional.

My breakfast is usually a banana and/or V-8 juice and Dannon yogurt. Less than 200 calories. Leaves me more to play around with the rest of the day.

It's good to try to hit your macros but more important to not go over you caloric deficit. Unless you just want an excuse to eat more :)

This. I got tired after only five months. I wish I had the money for a personal trainer, as that definitely inspired me. I lost a bunch, but have been maintaining ever since.

OP, just move more and eat less. If you want caffeine to shake and rattle you into eating less, the go for it. I personally don't like nervous energy :smile:
