Excellent job. One day at a time, keep on going! I have severe back pain as well that limits a lot of my mobility and confidence. You will succeed.

@thestoryofangelina No problem. It's the calories I would eat if I want to maintain my current weight. There are calculators galore on the internet as well as in these forums. https://tdeecalculator.net/

I love to get the big portobello mushrooms marinated in place of a burger on top of a 100 calorie english muffin, loaded with other veggies.

I did WW long ago, when the points system was a lot simpler. I think that helped me more than the following "plus" programs that I never could keep up with. It worked fine for me. I lost weight with them, but I felt like it was just calorie counting at its core and was very happy to find MFP. No more paying their dues!…

Don't give up. It's not an easy change at first, but it's worth it. You're worth it. Eat what you like- just log your calories and make adjustments one day at time.

You are fabulous! Congrats!

I love a good salad, however I never order one from anywhere. Generally, it's because the restaurant versions are loaded with calories that are near the equivalent of a cheeseburger. And like an above poster said, not enough protein. It may be weird, but I don't like cold salads either. The flavors seem to get lost. This…

Congrats! You look awesome.

Black coffee, sprinkle of cinnamon if available.

This! When people ask how much, I don't what know to say now, because of some bizarre comments that follow. I am also cold all the time. - I wasn't prepared for people not to recognize me. - The door gets held open for me more often.

One day at a time, one pound at a time. You will do great!! Today is a new day and you've done a great job. Celebrations with family are going to happen and we should enjoy them time to time.

I did the WW thing many moons ago, where you had one points range to stay in. There were no pointsplus, no extra week points, just- here's your range and your calculator. It was simple and it worked. However, it was just a formula for counting calories and making sure you were eating fiber. Checked it out years later and…

Congrats!! You look fabulous :)

Congratulations! Tremendous job and you look fabulous. I am also experiencing some of the same. I have to stop and study my own reflection, because I don't recognize myself. I have trouble believing what I'm seeing in the mirror for whatever reason at the time. It doesn't help that (the same) people tend to treat me…

Breakfast is something I am looking for something different lately myself. Right now I rotate either a greek yogurt smoothie with fruit of choice, poached eggs w/ high fiber muffins, or oats & granola. Sometimes a protein bar or high fiber breakfast biscuits.

@skinnyjeanzbound Wow! That's awesome, I would love to be a regular runner. I'll get there. Any tips for a newbie? I started the couch 2 5k routine. Seems to be working. @tootsanderson I can sympathize. No filter is right. My son ran up to me and patted my belly and giggled something out. I only heard the word big, and I…

One bite at a time. Every good choice adds up every day! Lots of water too.

Hello, new poster here. I've been following the thread for a little bit and love the support here. I'm a bit shy about posting and I'm trying to conquer that. I've been on MFP since February and have lost 60 lbs so far. I'm feeling so much better everyday, but I still have a ways to go. I've signed up for my first Marathon…

Hello everyone. I've been with MFP (this time) since February. I am currently trying to lose 125lbs. I found this thread a few days ago, and I just love the spirit here. I do not have many friends yet (I'm kind of introverted...) and I am looking for a support system. I'm down 54 lbs and looking forward to getting…

I usually prepare a salad with left over grilled chicken, or a veggie burger with a high protein or fiber english muffin with 1/4 of a avocado + salsa. For a decent pasta option, I buy the Mrs. T's pierogies- 3 for 130 cal with steamed veggies (and hot sauce!) is very filling. Even doubled, it's a satisfying meal without…

I remind myself that I already know what these things taste like, and that the disappointment and/or guilt isn't worth a refresher bite. It's hard to resist, but you stay strong! If you can stuff it in the fridge or somewhere out of site, it helps.

Yes! Coincidentally, had this for lunch the first time today! The peanut butter out flavors everything. Color threw me off every sip! :)

I usually enter the whole recipe into MFP and then log the serving size accordingly. This way whatever portion I'm taking includes the marinade as well.
