  • Down about 100lbs over about a year and a half of good old diet&exercise. Now a month into leangains protocol turned for fat loss/muscle maintenance, to clean up the last belly fat and build some muscle slowly. Once I get body fat where I want I'll switch to a recomp or gain protocol.
  • Just diet and exercise, calories in<calories out. If I wanted more food I bought it with exercise. Walking became jogging became running. Random pushups. Haha
  • Sorry for the delay, didn't check the thread in a while. Since a few have asked for story, here goes: I remember the first time I was made aware of my weight; at some point in 8th or 9th grade, I was skiing with my family. As we're filling out the paperwork for rentals, I put in my weight of 150lbs, and I remember my dad…
  • Day off, but went to the gym with my gf before she went to work and now had lunch, a beer, and watching standup on Netflix.
  • Just got back from a 4 mile walk with my gf, drinking a bottle of water to make sure I'm not just thirsty and then going to have a beer if I still feel like I want it.

I'd love to get some Nordic imagery but I want to do that AncestryDNA thing or something similar first to make sure I have some nordic blood because I think it's kinda poser-ish to get cultural tattoos if you're not at…
  • I wouldn't hit on women at the gym for a number of reasons, first of which is I have a girlfriend. But I'm in my own world when I work out and I think most other people are too. I know I wouldn't want to be interrupted so I don't interrupt anyone else. The real deciding factor of whether a guy is "creepy" or not comes down…
  • Supposedly we'll all be eating bugs soon, according to those who claim the meat industry is unsustainable. It'll have a hard time catching on in the western world though. Plenty of the rest of the world already eats bugs as a normal part of their diet, so they'll be fine...unless western demand for insect protein drives up…
  • Diet soda can still be a problem, because even though there are no calories, when your tongue tastes sweetness, your body preemptively floods you with insulin to prepare for what it thinks is a bunch of sugar coming down. When there's no sugar, the insulin lowers your blood sugar, making you hungry and more likely to…
