  • I did W4 D2 on Wednesday, it was still really hard but it definitely felt easier than W4 D1! My legs definitely feel it now that we are running for longer periods of time. The scales say that I have gained a pound this week though, which is rather annoying! W4 D3 is tomorrow for me. How did you find W4 D2 compared with W4…
  • Well done! I hope I make it that far :)
  • You can do it! I have, 14th May for me, I'm hoping I'll be ready in time haha. :)
  • Woohoo, we can do it! :)
  • Well done! I found it hard too, it is a massive jump, me and my friend didn't think we'd be able to do it but we just slowed down a bit and slogged it out haha. Well done you did it! :)
  • Thanks! Yes I was definitely slower this time, but I figure I can worry about speed once I'm much more used to running :)
  • Week 4 day 1 done, struggled a bit towards the end but finished it, even if it was a little slower!
  • Thanks for the tips! I think I will slow down a bit next time. Angie_kins, do you run with anybody? I find that having someone doing it with me motivates me.
  • Week 3 day 2 today for me, it felt a lot harder tonight than on week 3 day 1 and I had the return of the stitch :( I made it through though and next time I am going to concentrate on my breathing more to hopefully avoid the stitch! It was alot colder tonight, so I'm wondering if the cold made it harder.
  • Thank you! :)
  • Well done everyone, nomatter where you ate on the programme :) I did week 3 day 1 today, it felt alot easier than I thought it would, I'm wondering if I've slowed ... Also, I'd be ever so grateful if someone could help to explain running pace to me! my fit bit tells me my pace as two numbers, e.g 16'38", but I don't know…
  • Hello, I've started this too! Did week 2 day 2 tonight. I have never done running or jogging before in my life (I hated sports at school!), so I am a complete newbie to it. Feel free to add me if you like, I'm not sure how to do it but it's nice to meet others in the same boat :)
  • Thank you for your help, I feel alot better knowing that others have struggled to begin with too. I did week 2 day 1 today and I managed to do the running intervals ok, it felt difficult, like I couldn't breathe in deep enough, but I managed it and I hope it might feel a little easier on day 2. I'm hoping my lung capacity…
  • Hello everyone, I've just started C25k and have only done 2 days of week 1 so far, and oh my goodness, I can't imagine how I will ever be able to run more than a minute at a time! Does it really get easier? I am overweight, so I'm hoping it will get easier as I slim down, but at the moment after a few bouts of 60 secs of…
  • I have the charge Hr, got it for Christmas and I'm really enjoying using it, I like the way that I can see how my heart rate changed in my workout. I find that checking it every so often motivates me to make better decisions in my daily routine which will help my weightloss. I don't think the food tracking of fit bit is as…
  • I'm in! My goal is to lose 14lbs by Christmas :) Good luck everyone!
  • Even if you do get a little flabby, once you're at your weight goal then you could do some simple toning exercises maybe to try and firm everything up. Losing slowly is definitely best to help your body naturally reshape. :)
  • I am in the same boat as you (minus the new babies) we are moving house in the next few weeks and that coupled with my toddler and full time job is really depleting my energy resources for exercise. This is making me feel really down too as I worry that I won't lose without exercise. It is reassuring to hear that people…
  • Mine was when I had my little girl. I just couldn't stand the thought of not being here for her as long as I possibly can. Having been obese most of my life I knew it was now or never! :)
  • Hello, I'm 5'3" and I'm really pleased to find this thread! I started back at the beginning of 2014 at 258lbs+, this wasn't my heaviest but it it is where I was sat after being obese for most of my life and just having had my first child. I have lost 67lbs so far, with the odd stall in weightloss here and there (over…
  • Thanks for your advice everyone  I have stuck to it and the weight is coming off again. I was just confused by all the negative information on the Www regarding swimming and weightloss. So it's great to hear from people who actually have benefitted from swimming for weightloss. I'm currently investigating heart rate…
  • Thanks everyone. I have lost 4 stones already by calorie counting using Mfp, weighing foods properly with an electric scale etc. I get my calorie burns from Mfp, but I am looking into getting a hrm. At the moment I have been swimming 1000m (mostly breaststroke and backstroke) and working towards the same distance in a…
