Well, I did W9D3 last night so that is C25K done for me, woop woop! My dad has been running with me and he bought me a medal for having finished it - a little bit sad I know, but it is about my first ever sport related accomplishment so it kind of feels well earned haha. @xLyric - Well done! @brian_gunther - Well done to…

W9D2 done yesterday, the wind was so strong against us the I ended up feeling like I wanted to stop from about half way, I didn't give up but my mind was screaming at me to! I felt a bit nauseous at the end too, I think the wind just made me push my body harder than normal. Anyway, one more day to go, woohoo! Well done…

@youstolemyusernamex Well done! It's a great feeling isn't it, we shock ourselves at what we can actually do sometimes haha. @xLyric I'm not 100% sure yet, I think first of all I will need to focus on actualy running 5Km, as I am a little bit short of 5Km at the moment. So I'll probably work on getting to 5Km and then try…

@xLyric well done on doing 30 minutes :) Thanks for the song recommendations, I think I will download them as Im always looking for good songs! I did W9D1 today, my pace was slower for some reason, I think it may be because I was wary of tiring out too quickly. Hopefully by the end of the week my pace will increase!

@brian_gunther Wow! Well done you, I definitely don't think I could have run after something like that, especially not for extra time that I was even planning! haha. I did W8D2 yesterday but had a mix-up with timing as my app wasn't working on my phone, so I accidently ended up running for 30mins instead of the intended…

Wow, everyone is kicking butt, it's very inspiring to see how well everyone is doing! Just a quick check in from me, W8D1 done yesterday, alot easier without the strong wind in my face, only made an actual running distance of 3.7K though, so next week when doing 30 mins I don't think I'll be quite hitting 5K, but…

Well done! it is great to think how we are now able to run for 25 mins straight when to begin with just 60 seconds was really tough (for me anyway!) The wind really has been a problem for me on the last two runs as it's been so strong against me on my way back, I don't have access to a treadmill otherwise I might have…

Awesome job! Well done! Only a week until your 5k event now isn't it? I'm excited for you! :) I did W7D3 today, the wind was strong after turning around again, and it makes it so much harder, we still finished but it was gruelling. I think we are going to swap routes next week so that we aren't facing into the wind haha.…

Thanks! :) I will actually have another week on top as the program I am doing is 9 weeks long (28 mins in week 8 and 30 mins in week 9), but still, the end is in sight, woohoo! I can't wait to be able to say I can run for 30 minutes non-stop! :) Well done! I have to say I found W7D2 harder, although when I finished and…

Week 7 day 1 done, 25 mins, same sort of pace as previous weeks too so I'm quite pleased as I thought I might be slower. The first five minutes or so are definitely the worst, I have started experiencing a mild side stitch at the beginning recently, but as I approach about half way it goes and I start to feel pretty good!…

Well done!

Wow! Everyone is doing so well! Week 6 day 3 done today, managed it ok, legs are tired now, but I'm just pleased to have done 25 mins straight! My pace seemed to be faster according to my fitbit too so I'm quite pleased :) Bring on week 7! :)
-
Wow! That is awesome, well done! I can't wait to be able to run for 25 minutes straight, even if I do go slow haha. W6D1 (take 2) was ok, we went slower than usual to try and avoid my buddy hurting her side again, and I think going slower definitely helped her a bit as her side wasn't as sore at the end. I'm looking…

W6D1 done again, looking forward D2 on Wednesday.

Hi there, well done on getting this far, I wouldn't worry much about the speed, the way I look at it is that we are going way faster than anyone sat at home on the couch!

Well done! :)

Wow! Well done! I'm going to repeat week 6 starting Monday as my running buddy had to stop the other evening in day 2, and I am on my friends bridal shower weekend tomorrow all day and night, so running is out tomorrow and possibly Sunday too depending on how late Saturday night is for me! I'll be back on it Monday, back…

Oh dear, we had a slight wobble tonight, my running buddy has a pulled muscle near her ribs and 15 minutes in tonight she just couldn't go on bless her heart. So I think we are going to re-do week 6 starting Monday. Nevermind, tonight we both found our breathing patterns were loads better than when we started, and our pace…

Nice work! Don't beat yourself up for finishing a teeny tiny bit early, you did amazingly well going all that time! Like you say, a few short weeks ago we couldn't comprehend running for even a minute and a half at a time, let alone ten minutes! You should be proud that you pushed yourself past the wall, you did a whole 2…

W6D1 done. Well done everyone! :)

Hi everyone, I am surprised to say that I managed the twenty minute run! I'm shocked and rather pleased :) it was hard, I felt like I could have walked faster than I was running lol, but I'm chuffed to have done it. Brian, thanks for the tip about music, I made sure I had some of my favourites on my playlist and I…

Wow! Well done! My 20 mins is tomorrow and I have to say I'm doubtful at the moment, I'm kind of thinking I'll be repeating this week if I can't do tomorrow...but your success and enthusiasm has made me more hopeful for my run tomorrow...fingers crossed, maybe I can do it? We'll see! Well done everybody! :)

Well done everyone! W5D2 done for me, the second 8 mins was a bit of a struggle, I think I find it easier when I have some fruit an hour or two beforehand. Aine we must be using slightly different apps but they are very similar by the sounds of it Good work everybody, bring it on! :)
-
Wow, well done! Luckily I haven't come across any hills yet. Good job too, I think I might collapse if I had to run up hill lol :)
-
Well done! It is rather fun when you get going :)
-
Well done! Yep I did W5D1 this evening and I too found it much easier than I expected. I think the timing of my breathing was alot better, which obviously helps! The music is definitely helping too as it gives me something else to focus on. Haha, day 2, yes, I suspect the first run will just about be bearable but then the…

Well done, it's lovely that your son can go with you, you can enjoy the great outdoors together :) I hope to do that when my daughter is older, she's still tiny at the moment.
-
Well done! W5D1 tomorrow for me, not too worried, day 3 however, well that's slightly concerning haha. Will let you guys know how it goes. :)
-
Happy birthday! I hope you had a lovely day :)

I agree it's definitely sometimes harder mentally than it is physically, I've started listening to music as I go in the hopes of zoning out a bit so that my brain stops asking me why I am doing this every thirty seconds haha. W4D3 was today, still felt difficult, kind of dreading next week to be honest! Haha. Keep on…
