  • PW 254.5 CW 253.4 @jugar …. I’m leaving today to go camping and four wheeling with my 16 year old son so I’m posting my weight today rather than tomorrow. Five days in the woods may make next week’s weigh in a little sketchy but we’ll cross that bridge when we get there. Thank you!
  • What a nice surprise, it’s 66 degrees outside with low humidity. It finally feels like fall and the windows are open! I love the fresh air, though it won’t last long, we’re back in the 80s tomorrow.
  • I've enjoyed reading your updates and seeing the losses. To be honest, it helps seeing the gains too. They are a good reminder that we all have them and that they're just part of the process. Enjoy your weekend!
  • @jugar I tried to transition off keto and quickly slipped back in to horrible habits! I love Coke and tried to have one per day and I can't do that!!!! One turned in to four and all of that sugar triggered all kinds of hunger and cravings. I went back on keto to break all of the cravings and bad habits and at some point…

  • I like a nut crust on chicken and fish and I also put them in my skyr (Icelandic yogurt). I use a chopper and chop the pieces fairly small.
  • @bowens1973 and @happimess01 I see you have both gotten down under 200, amazing job! As of now I’d like to get to 220 and then reevaluate once I’m there. Have either of you gone lower than what you had originally planned? It has been 30 years since I was under 200 so the thought of it seems unattainable at this point.…
  • pw: 260.6 cw: 254.8 I’m happy to be heading back in the right direction!
  • @PlaneMonkey the deck looks amazing and I really like the clear panels that keep the view open! I’ve been considering doing something similar with our deck.
  • I’ve had three very good days this week and I look forward to weighing in on Friday. It feels good to get back in to a routine!
  • @jugar yes, I will weigh in on Fridays.
  • Hello, I'm Gary, I'm 50 and I live in Florida. I was part of the group earlier this year but recently took some time off. I tried to transition off keto on to something easier to maintain and I have failed miserably gaining around 20 pounds. I started at 287, stayed in the low 240s for a bit, and now I'm back at 260.…
  • Hello @jugar, I’d like to take a couple weeks off. I’m having some employee issues that are turning my travel schedule upside down. I’m not doing horribly but I won’t be traveling with my scale. Good luck all, see you soon!
  • I’m away for a few days moving my daughter in to a new apartment at Florida State University. Last year was her first year but she was home a lot because classes were online. Classes will be in person this year so we won’t get to see her for a few months. They grow up too fast!!
  • Air Fryer ….. do you have one? Is it worth getting? Is it something you’ve used long term or more of a fad that you stopped using after a few months? I’m trying to add some new recipes to our dinner menu and I’m wondering if an air fryer can help me do that.
  • We took the boat out today and the Gulf of Mexico was surprisingly calm even with Tropical Storm Fred passing through. We took a long walk on Honeymoon Island and then raced home as the storms started closing in. I hope you are enjoying your weekend!

  • My youngest starts his junior year of high school tomorrow and my daughter heads back to college on Friday. My tactic to salvage the rest of August will be getting back in to a routine! I find summer more difficult because we travel and always have a full house.
  • It was nice having yogurt for breakfast and a peach later in the day but the move away from keto has me feeling very irritable today. The family has also confirmed that I am a grump. Hopefully tomorrow will be better!
  • I’ve lost 47 pounds following a keto diet the last seven months but I can’t do keto anymore. I’m not enjoying it which makes it very difficult to stick to. I knew it wouldn’t be sustainable long term but it was a good tool to help me kickstart my weight loss. I’d like to add some fruit and other carbs back in to my diet…
  • Hello, my name is Gary, I’m 50 and I live in Florida. I’m down 47 pounds. I’m not sure what my ultimate goal is but I’d like to drop another 20 pounds by the end of the year. I eat a keto diet and I’m considering joining Zoom this month. I enjoy this group and I look forward to working with the team to crush our goals!
  • @happimess01 thanks, the logging is better the last couple days. My plantar fasciitis seems better so I’m looking forward to getting back to exercising and walking Monday. My losses definitely increase when I’m moving!
  • Congratulations @happimess01 that's a huge accomplishment! You're already looking thin and trim and the weightlifting will take you even further! @PlaneMonkey you're going to love having the kayaks! It's so peaceful and quiet being out on the water and they can float in just a few inches of water so you're able to explore…
  • PW: 240.4 CW: 240.1 I haven’t been logging or getting my steps, time to get back to what works! I’m going to make today my first perfect day and start stacking them up!!
  • PW: 240.9 CW: 240.4 I'm back from Alaska and the trip was incredible! The wildlife and scenery were amazing and we were able to enjoy them by train, boat, helicopter, float plane, kayak, dog sled, and hiking. It was so nice to be able to travel again and we couldn't have picked a better place to go. The plane ride started…

  • Those salads sound amazing!
  • Thank you, nothing about losing weight has been easy and eliminating the soda has been the hardest thing to change to this point. In Alaska I’m most looking forward to the hiking. We’ll be doing a lot of it and I love being on the trail in the wild! I’ve grown up in flat, hot, and humid Florida my whole life so I also love…
