Welcome!

You get to the point where you don't care and think *kitten* it! I'm STILL a bad maama jamma!

That gray area between 'all' or 'nothing' is definitely a rough place to be. Is this something you can sign up for in advance? Paying a registration fee and knowing that you have a date looming closer and closer could be the swift kick needed to get you in gear! Have you stuck to calorie goal or lifted today?

Guilty! At times anyway...today was one of those days! I'm not above an ocassional 'body tricking' ruse.

Glad you had a wonderful birthday! Getting older is a humbling experience. Some days I feel like it truly sucks, but 'all' days I'm thankful and feel blessed to be healthy and to see another day. I had some of my younger Zumba buddies laughing before class yesterday... to amuse them I started doing squats, with my knees…

Will definitely be on the lookout! Lemon flavored bars are my favorite!

Yeah I understand, was not using a heavy kettle bell the biggest challenge where the deep squats. Upon looking it up I guess what I was doing was more akin to the American/CrossFit style as far the swing I mean.[/quote] Sounds as if you're educating yourself! Good...that goes a long way towards preventing injury!
-
I would be extremely cautious with that overhead movement. Especially since it seems you're somewhat new to doing kettlebell swings. From what I've read if not done correctly, the overhead swing version is more prone to causing injury. I'm only going to chest level. But then...I'm a female.

Admire your dedication and encouragement from reading earlier posts. Gonna join in! Cardio: walk/jog- 90 minutes (564 calories, 5.72 miles with a number of hills) Strength: 100 kettlebell swings (20 lbs), 5 pushups (part of a kettlebell/pushup challenge here on MFP) Assessment: Met calorie goal. Didn't get enough protein…

Homemade electrolyte drink? Seems reasonable.

Smartbun: Orange Cream on the way to me. Crossing my fingers that I like them!

I think you have to search exercises for 'Strength Training'. MFP doesn't have Kettlebell listed specifically.
