I just returned to MFP and a long hiatus. The weight slowly crept back on. It worked great for me the first time around. Being middle-aged certainly makes it harder. How is it going for you so far?

Back from vacation in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC. Didn't have the nerve to step on the scale last night after we got back. Had hoped the knowledge of having a weigh-in on Sunday would keep me accountable, but wow ... do you know how good the food is up there??? and all the breweries??? I failed to stay…

On a short vacation. Home tomorrow and will try to make some days up. Might have time to get to the fitness center in the hotel tonight.

Good evening! Cardio: Zumba - 57 minutes 287 calories Strength: 100 kettlebell swings, 20 PushUps Assessment: Went over calorie goal. Stress of having our floors re-finished and having to clear out the main level. Then having to be out of the house for 4 days...ugh!

Don't do it as often as I once did. Hadn't been in a while and was gasping for breath by the end. One heck of a conditioning workout for sure! Kudos to your wife for teaching Zumba! I got certified last November, but not teaching at the moment.
