Been here a few months and have stalled. (I could make excuses about stress and stuff but there isn't really any excuse except my choices.) Anyway I have about 70 more to go so friend me if you like....I can use the extra support too. ;)
-
I would like to join....I've stalled and would like more friendly motivation ;)

Under Armor makes a couple of good underwire ones, I have one from them, but I really like my one from Title Nine. If they are not near you they have a website with lots of styles and sizes.

I only eat about 1/2 back, if any, because most calorie counters are in some way inaccurate. My intake is also 1200 calories, I have a lightly active life style, but I also have I high weekly loss goal, -2lbs, per week. My advice would be to stick with what you are doing for atleast 3 weeks because by that time you will…

Started today with JM Shred L1D1. This is my second round so I added heavier weights and I'm working at a higher intensity. Tomorrow may be interesting...also finished with 90 additional crunches....keeping the crunch challenge going.

75 today....anyone else aiming for 100+

There are lots of people doing the shred and there is another thread with lots of posts. Go check it out ;) BTW I'm redoing it starting with level 1. I was huffing and puffing through the first few days but my stamina grew quickly and by the end of round one I was feeling much better. I got toned, stronger and was feeling…

70 crunches, whew, thank you JM Shred, without you I would have not gotten that many ;)

I'm in B)

I have been doing the shred and I just eat up to my calorie max. I am not following any specific plan I am eating what I want as long as I don't go over. I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, salad for lunch, I snack with fruit, and I eat various things with dinner but i do make sure I measure and weigh everything.
-
How much are you over? I am able to do 1200 per day but I eat oatmeal for brekkie, a huge salad for lunch, 75% veggies and 25% protien for dinner. There are other lean cuts of meat other than chicken or fish. I use marinated pork tenderloin and I also like to cook with marinated flank steak. They provide lots of flavor and…

Not all women or mean for that matter need extra iron. That is untrue. If you are worried about your iron get your levels tested, all your levels, your serum, absorbtion, the lot. I set my custom to 25% iron daily and no more. Why? Because there is a little known genetic disorder called hemochromatosis. What happens is the…

I weigh the unpopped, so I know my serving, then use a pan and olive oil to pop my corn. Then I use just a touch of olive oil and infused salt to add tons of flavor...its soo good I don't miss my orvil in the bag. I also use garlic powder, dill and other dried spices and herbs to make different flavors.
-
I have too much iron. Its is a genetic thing called hemochromatosis, meaning I have to have less than 25% of my daily allowance I can tell you the things I avoid. Cereal is tough for me, especially grape nuts and many high fiber cereals, because most have more than 25% of daily recommended. Most standard multivitamins have…

Stuffed/roasted portabella mushrooms with lots of veggies, blue cheese crumble, 1 slice crumbled bacon, and an overeasy egg about 361 total put together. Takes about 20 minutes from start to end.

I don't call them cheat days, I use a special meal to celebrate a success, for a special occassion or I allow myself a yummy goody or a beer once a week. I don't want to feel deprived because that means binging. It works for me so I can keep eating well and sticking to my budget 90% of the time.
-
My current favorites are homemade ground turkey fajitas or I cut the caloriesswitching the tortilla for a lettuce wrap for lunch or dinner. On veggie night we do "stuffed" portabella mushrooms with any mix of veggies and the occasional piece of bacon bits, but it's very low calorie and easy to vary. Next is a yummy lime…

My husband and I would spend $50 a week total at the grocery store on fruit/veg and whatever staples we would need. We would and still buy store brand when ever possible (Kroger) and ususally we can doctor it up with the $1 spices from the store and make it really yummy. We'd hit costco for a bulk protein purchase, fish,…

Was curious as to the difference so I got goofy and did L2D1 and L3D1 today. Had done L1D6 on saturday but was getting bored. Might alternate them just to see...might not, I'll see how I feel tomorrow. Does it count as 2 days if you do two in one day? Couldn't find the video of L3 on youtube but I googled it and…

Finished L1D6 just saturday. Sunday rest day, YEA! Today I did L2D1 this morning then this afternoon decided to try L3D1 just to see the difference. Still no weights cause I had to buy better support for the chest cause the old bra's were not supporting well any more ;)
-
L1 D6 today plus walking. Might skip L2 and try L3? Need to buy some weights though I only have 10 lbers

Guinness is the go to beer. However there are "unfortunately" many craft breweries within miles of where I live I just have to try them all ;) Current favs are Dry Dock and Breckenridge. Then of course a great Scotch is always welcome. Bit of a beer and scotch snob here :p

What kind of bike do you have and how is it geared? That is a more important question than you might expect because it can totally make a difference in how you are riding and how much effort you are putting in. I ride a bike geared for my style of cadence riding. (I tend to ride a 85 to 100 plus cadence) Basically when I…

On L1D5 plus I did some of the metabolism boost video, about 20 minutes worth. I had to make up for my cheat day yesterday. I looked it up on the web and took the average and just entered it under My Exercises. Then it's easy to track because it's on my list of frequent exercises. Twenty minutes, based on what I found was…

Ok let me tell you about my parents (I'm in my 40s). My Mom is going to be 65 this year and has biked two trans-americas: one from caly to virginia, one florida to oregon. Just two years ago she solo biked the Sierra's from the canadian border to san diego then turned left and continued to Phoenix. She bikes probably 100…

Just started a few days ago and I'm on L1D4. I plateaued so I'm using this to kickstart my metabo and so I can get a workout around a Crazy work schedule of late. Only positive lately is that my calorie diary has stayed within goals  So for those of us who just started lets keep the thread alive and celebrate those…
