30 day shred and food

what have you eaten while doing 30 day shred? I believe it comes with a diet plan but I'm bad at those and want to learn to eat healthy in the long run, so I stick to my calorie amount and record it. Anyone else do that?

I have been doing the shred and I just eat up to my calorie max. I am not following any specific plan I am eating what I want as long as I don't go over. I usually eat oatmeal for breakfast, salad for lunch, I snack with fruit, and I eat various things with dinner but i do make sure I measure and weigh everything.

When I did the shred (which I loved by the way) I just ate whatever fit into my calories for the day. I don't really do well on a meal plan either. Just stay within your calories and you should be good to go.0

She's talking about Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, a workout video.
When I did it I just ate whatever I wanted as long as I was under my calories for the day, which at that time was 1700 cals a day.

I'm doing 30DS and sticking to my regular calorie goal. I also use the calories burned (approx. 250 according to my HRM) to have a protein shake, although I do that on any workout day anyway.0

Meal planning keeps me on track. I sit down once a week, typically Thursday, and plan out all my meal. I shop on Friday and prep on Sat. I'm currently on day 17 of the 30DS and love it. Thank you for the replies! It's good to know people are seeing results with just calorie intake counting. I really like the 30 day shred, am 2 days in and can't wait to be closer to 30 to see some results!0
