Incredible results! Congrats

Can you be more specific? Maybe not all 10,000 ways but maybe a few so you can get some insight?

Yeah! I run as exercise of choice and it hurts to sit without a cushion now. But I'd say it's a good problem to have.

Once I started drinking half my body weight in ounces of water daily, the scale went down a lot faster

Checked again this morning and was only up .6. I used to get discouraged after a vacation and give up. I have just learned that if you get back on it then there is minimal damage.

Thanks for all the support

I am in the same boat. Slow weight loss because I am getting close to goal and not supposed to go below 1200 calories. But it helps when I drink half my body weight in ounces of water a day. Especially if you are exercising. I also try not to eat too many of my exercise calories.

So I drank a gallon of water the last 3 days and my official weigh in was this morning. I am up 1.4 pounds. Not too bad for everything I ate while on vacation. Hoping next week takes the rest off and maybe a little bit more!

You get really good at filling yourself up on low calorie fare. And it doesn't take long. Bad habits begin to be replaced with good habits. It's surprising how filling a salad can be. And add extra veggies to your meal and lots of water and you will get by with your allotted calories. Not to mention, your appetite goes…

My treadmill says I burn 888 calories for a 5.15 mile 65 minute run. I don't know if this is accurate. But I do high intensity intervals so maybe. Mfp set me at 1200 calories. I am 5'2". I eat anywhere between 1400-1600 calories a day even on my 3 rest days. I started at a 2 pound loss per week and now maybe a 1/2 pound a…

I did go over a bit the last two days and am working my way down, but I didn't think of drinking a gallon of water. I will do that today and tomorrow. Great idea! Thanks.will weigh in on Friday and will post my results
-
That is very encouraging that you lost what you'd gained after one week. I hope that is true in my case
-
I had a good day yesterday. Stayed close to my allotted calories. Today is a little easier

He knows how it bothers me so he doesn't ask my weight, but he has said he could guess it. Don't want to know his guess

No. I've been married 30 years and I have never told him how much I've weighed. I tell him now how much I weighed when we were married, how much I gained during each pregnancy. I lost pregnancy weight after each pregnancy, thankfully. But my baby is 21 and I had gained quite a bit due to too much food and not enough…

28.6 so far in 6 months
-
Also if you ate or drank anything. I weigh in the morning before I eat or drink.
-
Guess I passed halfway mark as well. I've lost 28.6 and still have 13.8 left

During the week I always have oatmeal. After its cooked, I put a tblsp of crunchy pb, 3 tsp of brown sugar and a tsp of cocoa powder drizzled all across the top. I let it melt a bit and then spread across the top. I do not mix in. This way I can get some topping in every bite. It takes a long time to eat and keeps me full…

I like to put a pitcher of water out with orange, lemon and lime slices in it. When the pitcher is empty, I've gotten all my water in.
-
All I see is you can fit almost 2 of you in those work pants
-
Wow! That is an incredible difference
-
It took a while. Maybe 25 pounds.

Thank you for your timely response. I get how it works now. I will continue my cardio and slowly start adding in lifting.

I run on my treadmill 4 days a week. I am up to 5.15 miles per workout. I would love to start lifting but I'm afraid to gain weight on the scale as I know muscle weighs more than fat. Did this happen to you or did it help you lose faster? I have plateaued for the last 4 to 5 weeks so if I can get enough evidence that It…
