@patrikc333 - Man I am glad you love your shoes, otherwise everything would be doom and gloom ... well done on still pushing the 9 miles :)

Optical HRM by default is less precise than chest-HRM, but not to the extent shown. On my Fenix3 I sometimes find irregularities as well. I tried using a chest-HRM to compare against as well, and the results can be very "varying". I have noticed with my Fenix that if I shutdown my watch before a run, so it got a fresh…

used the lift as primary, and run for cardio when I was younger so much younger than today, where now I run as a prime (focus on long-distance), and throw around weights because I love it. Whenever I think I have reached an age where I want to be focusing on just cardio I manage that for approx 2 weeks, and the urge to do…

the statement in your mind should go "I have to" rather than "I want to" (even if you "really" want to)

It is only you that can control this, a virtual kick does not hurt. To prevent excuses, work out when you wake up if that will be part of your program, which will set you up for the day, and make you feel like you can conquer the world, and make your own lunch to bring to work, to cut out the crap food. But the only one…

Good luck with that ... would not even consider 30 miles ... HM for me is already stretching it :) ... enjoy

@JustSomeEm - LOL ... like Chandler Bing I (try to) use humor as a defense mechanism ... unlike Chandler Bing, I normally fail miserably :) ... and trust me, I have zero issues with my run times. Too old to be worrying about that, when I am happy I can still achieve what I want to achieve. Glad you enjoyed your 15K B)

@patrikc333 "Saucony guide 10 are perfect, better than women. I'm in love with them" - I got the Guide 8 & 9, but although they are great, I definitely would not compare them with women ... why can you not have both, or even women also wearing Saucony Guide 10

12/03 - Ran first HM distance on my TM today (good thing I did, as the facilities were really close) - 1:54:02 Passed half distance for the month, so I might even make my target @_nikkiwolf_ The Solar run was interesting though, hope they introduce more of that type of runs Completed • 11/03 - 10K Run The Solar System…

I was born ugly ... nothing changed :(

@JustSomeEm Good luck tomorrow with your 15K, I will be attempting a TM half marathon in preparation for the real deal on May 1st ... The reason for calling it an event, is if you look at the #1 time on the list, the difference is 10 minutes (and probably 50lbs :) ), so the word race is not for me :)
-
Just ran the https://runthesolarsystem.com/-10K, which is not a race (with my pace I would call a race an event, as a race you might stand a chance of competing, and looking at my image the only thing I might compete against is a slug :) ... and even then the outcome might be dubious) - but it was very interesting, where…

11/03 - Ran the "Solar system - 10K : 52:01" - Interesting how one can traverse the Solar system, no problemo, but during the traversing gets lost in his own neighbourhood ... :* Completed • 11/03 - 10K Run The Solar System (thanks for the tip) - 52:01 Coming up: • 12/03 - TM Half Marathon (plugged in the MK HM route -…

Go up to a maximum of 15 reps, and when you do that, increase the weight, until you can do 15 again, and increase the weight etc ... you get the picture. Not only are you burning, but also improving on strength. Appeared to work for me when I wanted to tone, but not lose too much muscle
