I think its fine as long as you make it up the rest of the week! I have good/bad days all the time but if by end of the week I'm still in the green, I'm good and still lose. You can't deprive yourself totally or you won't make it long term.

I pick from either oatmeal, almond milk & slivered almonds with cinnamon or 1 egg cooked in coconut oil with 1 slice of swiss cheese & a slice of wheat toast. Both are filling and so darn good!

I think my question is, am i better off to do just elliptical one day, and calesthenics another day or should I keep doing both during the same workout as described? I just want to get the most bang or my buck! Thanks for any help you can give me!

Oh I can tell you I sweat up a storm! My hair is even soaked which is a very new thing for me. I do as many crunches as I can, as many squats, etc in between. May try level 5 on elliptical to see if that helps with weight loss. I got the idea watching a trainer on the Today show a while back. He suggested runners stop…

I think any form of exercise you add is great! Even if its all you do, its 100% better than doing nothing. Its just that you may not get the results you want, doing just biking. I'm a complete novice and don't go by just me! Its just my experience with the eliptical.

Rhode Island! Love summers, hate winters! Speaking of which, damn blizzard predicted for Tuesday. All I can say is, glad I can log in my snow shoveling into MFP! I think it's a great addition to other exercises to mix it up but by itself, probably not. Just like my beloved eliptical. I'm now mixing it with strengthening since alone, it did nothing for me. Make sense?

By real food, I mean full breakfast, lunch, dinner and typically 2 snacks. I know some people are having great success drinking protein shakes and that's fine for them but I prefer to eat fresh foods I prepare myself.
