I've had my misfit since May, love it, except when I forget to put it on my pant leg or shoe when I'm cycling and don't get my points for it!

Day 7/30, had 60 minutes cycling. Day 8/30, also have 60 minutes cycling.

Day 6/30, walked two dogs, 30 minutes for 1.6 miles. Picked up the neighbors pot belly pig half way through, she followed us the rest of the way, with one dog trying to walk backwards. All three got doggie biscuits a the end.

Day 5/30. 30 minutes on treadmill. Actually ran some, first time ever.

It's stress and fried foods that has always set mine off. Haven't had much of a problem since I started eating in a manner that helps me lose and that is healthier for me. Also, being retired from teaching (Biology of all things, should have figured this out much sooner!) helps! :|

I've always had a case of mirror avoidance, most of my life I only checked it when I got ready in the morning (to the point of never regularly carrying a brush in my purse!). Now, the scale on the other hand, I guess I am entertained by checking it sometime 3-4 times a day, but at least morning and night. I use Happy Scale…

Common thoughts I've gleaned from the threads: be patient and ask yourself where you will be in a year if you do nothing for yourself now. This has helped me stay the course.

62 years old here. I started on mfp in early October and have lost over 30 pounds. It's never too late. You won't regret it.
