I'm not firm on the day but usually once a week. If the number doesn't seem right, I weigh myself the next day. Sometimes I just get really bad about checking and don't look for two weeks. What's more important is taking measurements, to me that's always the big omg moment lol.

High-fiber cereal in the morning helps me a lot when I was trying to figure it out. Fiber supplement (powder that goes in water) if I feel like I'm deficient.

Step outside your situation (in your mind) and look in. Nothing is life-ending, life always goes on. Don't study 7 days a week and feel guilty about not studying. :-)

I always just go for the salad with grilled chicken and no dressing if I need to. I pack an apple or two when I'm out just in case though, since I also have to budget my money as well as my calories right now haha
