I have food sensitivities, as well, but mine include fiber like in vegetables. Makes things tough! :( For your mid-day snack, what about hard-boiled eggs? A banana? Avocado? The last two may not be as low in calories as you'd like, but I've found them to have pretty good satiety. Good luck! I hope you get some great ideas!

I get it. I get tremendously jealous, too. What helps me is to think of the wonderful things I have (comfortable home, sweet DH) and that some thin women would kill to have what I have. Angel Food Cake is relatively low in calories. A decent slice from the bar cake I got is 110 calories. The problem is not eating the whole thing. Hershey's Lite Chocolate Syrup is a lifesaver for me. I just finished a non-fiction book called Year of No Sugar, by Eve Schaub. It's an entertaining, easy read about how sugar affects us and how much is in our food. I'm joining. :) Got my first walk of April in at 2.5 miles in 60 minutes. I live in a hilly area so that was harder than it looks! Getting ready for a 5K mid-May.

Are you me? :) This is my physiology, exactly. When I drink a Diet Coke, a few hours later I'll have cravings for sweets, as you do. This doesn't happen since I switched to stevia as a sweetener.

Babybel Light are 50 calories each and the closest "diet" cheese to the real thing that I've found.

It's already been mentioned a few times, but I also want to add that the fully-sweetened chocolate almond milk is wonderful in coffee and won't have many calories. If you don't want the sweetness, the unsweetened adds a nice richness.
