Thanks for the ideas everyone! I have been trying to add as much salt as I can tolerate to my food, but sometimes it's just too much for what I'm used to. I did buy sea salt because I hear it tastes a little better, and I'd like to buy some Himalayan rock salt too. I do love making soup this time of year!!

I don't mind some of the extra calories- it's the additives, preservatives, nitrites, what have you, that are terrible- as in they cause diseases and cancers

I believe the steps are accurate- watch them increase as you walk. However, calories burned for me are always high too. 1700-1800 with walking 9,000-10,000 steps, no additional exercise. May I ask what percentage you were at when weighing 250? Also, I have never heard of the bod pod, are you in the states?

Hard to believe you're at 31%. Have you ever calculated your body fat percentage yourself? May want to give it a try to see how accurate the bod pod was, and you can track it as it decreases as well. Best of luck for you!
