Sustained energy throughout the day, better hydration due to drinking a ton more water, no migraines, WAY less tummy issues! All wins in my book!!

I’m really new to this so am not a great one to comment, but I do feel generally more happy overall and got through my normal “witching period” much easier this month! Part of it I think is the feeling that I am making some positive changes for myself and also that my normal migraines have diminished so significantly.

This week felt pretty good! I’m struggling with keeping my carbs low enough but getting enough calories even though I’m eating only keto friendly foods. Maybe I do need to start using some fat bombs? That said, I still feel better than ever, lots of energy and more mentally “sharp” than I’ve been for quite some time.…

Week two complete!! Overall I’m feeling so much more energized and my tummy is less bloated with less emergency trips to the bathroom too! I did have one day where I fell off the wagon due to a coworker’s farewell lunch at an Indian restaurant. I felt awful several hours lately.. extreme brain fog and fatigue. I’ve been…

I cheated one day last week, went out for a coworker’s farewell and had butter chicken, naan and rice. A few hours later I was in complete brain fog, headachy, dizzy and zero energy whereas most other days I feel clear-headed and WAY more energetic than I have before I started this low carb lifestyle.

Checking in! This week has been pretty good but I’m struggling to determine if I’m truly in ketosis? Thoughts on test strips?? 🤔I guess it’s just a little hard to trust the process sometimes! I am down a few pounds but have also been making a conscious effort to drink a tone more water and get up and move my body more…

Hi Everyone! I’m restarting Keto today after a 6 month break. I would like to lose about 25-30 lbs however my main goal is to increase energy levels and overall well-being. I have some food sensitivities which and Keto really helped virtually eliminate all those discomforts previously! Looking forward to getting to know…

People that ask the same damn question at work again and again and again (i.e. “Hey, what’s the time sheet code for training again?”)

In! Currently 160lbs at 5'4" and size 12 (comfortably) or size 10 (feeling like a sausage!)

Good job!

My right knee/shin are killing me. It almost feels like it is bruised or locked up, not the regular muscle soreness. Because of it, I'm only doing the workout every second day and I am modifying the jumping jacks to just step to each side instead of bounce out. (That one seems to be the worst for me). I am ok with the jump…

I completed Day 6 on Monday. My one leg is really hurting when I'm doing jumping jacks or walking down stairs. It almost feels like a shin splint. I'm just trying to modify that one - even though Jillian says there is no modified version of a jumping jack! :p Tonight will be Day 7. Falling a bit behind.

Shrimp taco's from Boston Pizza.

Completed Day 5 yesterday and then did 3 games of curling in a bonspiel! Today was a rest day as my shins were killing me. So far I have lost 2 pounds since I really started keeping track two weeks ago.

Did day 3 on Wednesday. Planning on day 4 this evening! I seem to be settling into an every 2nd day pattern.
-
Good point! And thanks for the encouragement!!

Forgot to add, I also get to go snowshoeing with my daughter's class tomorrow! Looking forward to giving that a try although my legs will probably feel like lead!

Missed today. Didn't get home until late this evening. I'll be doing day 3 tomorrow morning, which is good because I'll reset to mornings, which are so much easier for me! Still feel bad. :(

Completed Day 2 last night! My kids ended up doing it with me, which kind of helped! The dog jumping on my stomach while I was doing crunches however did not! :p

Day 1 done (I'll call last Thursday's session a "practice round". ). The side lunges with arm raises kill me and I think tonight will be worse as I just had to shovel our driveway and sidewalk as we got a dump of snow last night!

Just trying to cut back on carbs and fill up on mostly veggies/fruit with protein at every meal.

Curling once a week (not sure it really counts, but at least it's movement!). Walking. I haven't been doing anything for strength training for several years (except for a 6-week stint of boot camp last fall) and unfortunately it shows!

1. To be able to do up my jeans again without having to lie on the bed and "suck in" 2. To lose the muffin top that now peeks overtop my jeans 3. To increase my energy levels 4. To tone my arms and abs in particular 5. To feel confident in my bathing suit 6. To be able to keep up and play with my kids again 7. To improve…

I wasn't sure what the frequency was designed to be so this is helpful! I honestly don't think I could even do two days back to back as I did my first session yesterday and could hardly walk up the stairs today - yes, I am out of shape! Starting again tomorrow and I'll try to keep it going for at least 5 with a rest day! I…

Sparkling water in place of pop. I second the popcorn in place of chips! Frozen grapes are a sweet treat in place of candy.
