I can do all 6 flights of stairs now from the parkade at work to my floor without being winded. I used to sometimes have to stop partway to rest. I’ve also broken the elevator habit and now actually favour the stairs!

If I look at the “nutrients” tab versus just macros tab it shows you fibre and carbs. I subtract the fibre from the carbs to get the net carbs. It took me awhile to check both tabs and I couldn’t figure out how to get lower carbs even though I was eating very strictly

I had a bad week too.., let the fact that I was attending out of town meetings be an excuse to “reward” myself. What I came to realize is that it really wasn’t a reward.. my cravings and inability to portion control came back with a vengeance and now I’m paying with lack of energy and crankiness. I found one called Suzie’s Good Fats at both Sobey’s and Save-On. Several of them say “Keto approved” at the top. They are very high fiber which knocks down the net carbs significantly.

Berries! I know they’re technically allowed but the portion sizes to keep them in check are so small. It’s almost like a tease! 😩

Sustained energy throughout the day, better hydration due to drinking a ton more water, no migraines, WAY less tummy issues! All wins in my book!!

I’m really new to this so am not a great one to comment, but I do feel generally more happy overall and got through my normal “witching period” much easier this month! Part of it I think is the feeling that I am making some positive changes for myself and also that my normal migraines have diminished so significantly.
