Then I would Stick with it and keep logging so you can see if your weight loss starts slowing. Amazing results btw! :)

Agree with previous posters. I'd be dubious about those numbers of calories burnt and I'd expect that if you eat them you'll end up gaining.

How do you feel? Does it feel sustainable at your current level of activity and calories? If so I'd try and Stick with it personally.

I had a baby and lost 12lbs in one day.... sorry, that's not helpful is it. Honestly though. ... I'm with the calorie counters. .. it works! I can't see how much I'm eating versus how much I'm expending any other way personally.

I am loving this thread for entertainment value

I found that if I ate my breastfeeding calories, I didn't lose. That could just be me though. So I personally don't eat mine.

Maybe try increasing your cardiovascular distance or intensity? Try doing intervals or something that really challenges you. Personally I would do something running based outdoors and I'd factor in some hills or flights of stairs.

I love how controversial this post has got already! Personally I'd get the dress let out and frankly not worry about it. It's your wedding day. ... I'd want to be happy and comfortable more than I'd want to be a particular size. Also. .. for me losing an inch and a half off my waist equates to quite a bit of weight loss…

Its a great show! I got the impression though that they ask the participants to log an average week's eating. Then, at a later date, they film them and show them what their average consumption actually is. The best show was in the first series, when this women claimed that she was some kind of medical miracle and there was…

Whilst everyone is different, just to give you a comparison... i do ironman triathlon which is a 2.4 mile swim, followed by a 112 mile bike ride, followed by a marathon and that burns around 6000 - 7000 calories over the course of 12 hours, so i really doubt that walking 5km (3 miles) would burn 500. I'd guess that 250-300…

I ate my breastfeeding calories after my first was born and didn't lose any weight. So this time I'm not adjusting for the fact that I'm breastfeeding and I'm losing. Up to you though obviously :)

I think a lot of people post on here words to the effect of 'I'm doing everything right but not losing weight' because they're looking for a reason that explains why they're not getting anywhere which doesn't involve facing up to the harsh reality of weightloss. Once you have 30 or so people pointing this reality out to…

Agree - its the hardest time for cravings. Personally, I'm trying to plan in calories for things that I like to eat at this time (usually desserts) then I'm making them myself, so I know exactly what I'm getting. It means that I have to be really strict with myself during the day, but I find I can ignore the cravings…

I'd start doing some weight training if I were you. You don't need to buy weights, just use things that you have around the house/your own body weight. I did squats yesterday holding my toddler, who weights about 25lbs :)

Basically, the reason why you're not losing weight is because regardless of what you think you're doing, you're actually eating at maintenance levels. i.e. you're consuming roughly the number of calories that you're expending. So either you're not expending as much as you think you are, or you are eating more than you…

I agree that eating carbs doesn't stop you losing weight. It is worth noting that carbs like bread, pasta, rice etc are calorie dense so if your diet primarily consists of these foods AND you're underestimating how much of them you're eating, you could easily be eating a lot more calories than you think.

Just to present a slightly different view.... I used to add 500 calories for exclusive breast feeding and it made me gain so I came to the conclusion that your body can actually get quite efficient at producing breast milk. So I add 200 and that works for me but I guess everyone is different :)

Actually. .. The girls are killing it as well. Such an inspirational thread.

Totally concur. Good work boys :)

Amazing job! You look totally awesome. Can I ask how much you lost and how long it took?
