Thank you so much for this. Really I needed this. I have stalled in weight loss, but then I measured myself. I have lost three inches in my waist and 2.25 inches in my hips. It does show me that I am doing something even if the darn scale doesn't agree.

I've been obese all my life. I hate pictures. I hate looking in the mirror when I'm naked. I hate that my husband thinks I'm sexy when I can't see myself as that way. I want am going to change all of that. I just don't want to be embarrassed by myself anymore.

Hi there. I want to lose 50 pounds. I started at 180. I am down to 176. I am slowing starting exercise in my routine. Strength training for toning up my arms, tummy and thighs.

You know this is totally going to sound vain and horrible. I want to be sexy. I want to be able to wear a sleeveless shirt and not feel as if the world is staring at my arms. I want to wear a bathing suit and not feel uncomfortable.

I'm rather petite too. I'm 4'11" at 177 pounds. I don't think a lot people realize how much even 20 extra pounds makes us look and feel. You can do this! Binge eating will do nothing for you but make you feel awful the next day. You've already lost 8.5 pounds which is huge on someone our size! You can do this.

You know I love a good salmon dinner. I take 6 oz of salmon skinned, put it in a Corning Wear dish. Add 1T of olive oil, 1/2 cup of chicken stock, and 1/2 cup white wine for cooking and bake at 325 for 20 minutes. It comes out well. I pair this with a veggie.

I too am brand new to this. I did 20 minutes today, and I thought to myself, I know this gets easier. I see people doing it all the time. I want to be able to get a one hour workout done all at once so I have the rest of my day. Good for you kristis, and keep up the good work.

I am getting out measuring cups and counting Wheat Thins. This is how I know I'm not getting enough. I feel uncomfortable by the end of the day. I started adding in things like butter just to get the empty calories, but the fat intake worries me.
