great to see so many people doing it and so many different stories!! I'm not the greatest running fan but i think it's because i've always found it too hard and i must admit it's SLOWLY getting easier. I am due to start week 4 on Saturday and am nervous about the 5 minute run but i am loosing weight and i feel a sense of…

Love all the advice here!! I am doing couch to 5 k at the moment, almost finished week 2 but really not enjoying the pain I'm getting in my lower legs, mainly shins. I know this is because I am new to running, and I've been doing strength exercises to improve but is there anything else I should/shouldn't be doing?

Beetroot!! Don't know why but every time I go to the shop I have to buy more.. haha!

amazing!! well done!! Did you find it hard at the beginning? I'm struggling with my lower legs really, the pain when I am running. I've researched some strength exercises for runners and have started these!

You can do this!! I am in a similar position - the fun travel!! But I do love trying food and unfortunately it shows!! I'll add you... we can do this together :)

Exercise is the only thing that's really helped me, even a few days away from it and I see a decline. Oh I did get a puppy in September and she brightens the darkest days for me  - but that isn't practical always and isn't for everyone. I hope you find a solution soon

I couldn't agree more with this. I've been on anti depressants for about 9 months and although they have kept me on an "even keel" I've not had many days of feeling good and motivated. Since I have started tracking my food, making healthier choices and sticking to an exercise regime I feel sooo much better. It's amazing.

I use WW meals and also my supermarket equivalent steam meals which are low in sugar and sodium and are packed with veggies! I always try and go for meals that have the least amount of additives and so far it's working for me! I'm not the best cook and these are cost effective and are delicious, I just bulk up with…

Bereavement was my excuse in the beginning, then it just became a habit to not exercise and eat high calorie meals. I got a boyfriend who loves take outs just as much as me and I got comfortable. I don't know why I stopped because now I'm back exercising and eating well I feel soooo much better!

I drink Mint Green Tea! It helps when I'm sat at my desk with not much going on and definitely fills me up until my next meal :)

As mentioned above, I use it to curb my appetite if it isn't quite lunchtime etc. It's lovely on a cold day :)

Hey :) I'd love to be part of the group!

hi there :) I want to lose about 70 lbs in total.. I am so fed up of being fat and always feeling groggy and tired. I'm only on day 4 of exercise and healthy eating (1200 calories a day too) and I already feel sooooo much better, I can't wait to see what the next few months bring as my fitness increases and I get in to a…

Thanks for the answer :) I can weight bear and most of the time walk with only a a bit of discomfort that's why I asked. One of my friends commented on my status to say that circuit training using my upper body is a good way to still incorporate HIIT into my day :) that's my plan! My doctor was no use!!

thanks for your insight there. I was just looking for some support from anyone who had possibly gone through the same thing as me.

yummy thank you!

I've lost 27lbs now and although I have restricted my calorie intake on a daily basis.. I never denied myself a day of eating what I want. Sure, I felt so much better about it if I went to a spin class in the morning or something, but I'm a true believer that if you don't have days like tomorrow it will eventually put you…
