Best post I have ever seen on here.

I'm glad that counting calories and being so dedicated to logging food works for you but those who work with people with disordered eating have real life evidence that shows that's not always the best answer for the large majority of their clients. It depends on someone's goals. Yes, counting calories has it's place but…

Couple that with the following article on adaptive thermogenesis: https://www.t-nation.com/diet-fat-loss/a-calorie-is-sometimes-not-a-calorie

Exactly. Besides, hasn't anyone seen Bridesmaids?

You must be superhuman and unlike the majority of us. Congrats!

Some food makes you feel great, other food makes you feel like crap. I think this is the common sense thought when people talk about good food and bad food.

1200 calories seems low for someone your weight. Low calories isn't always the answer. Losing weight doesn't mean you are losing fat. Plus, your body is trying to recuperate after having a kid. That requires moar calories. I'm sure you are producing breast milk as well for your child. Again, moar calories.

Hot-headed...hardly. I think it's sad when people get consumed and mad over writing on the internet. And the whole "go ahead and bet that you haven't taken any biochem, anatomy and physiology, or even basic cell bio courses before" is overplayed. Everyone uses some variation of the statement when trying to prove a point.…

It seems we have conventional medicine vs alternative medicine. Since peer-reviewed studies rarely ever test out alternative medicine treatments, it's tough to find them. I'm not on here too much since I do have a life outside of MFP. I couldn't imagine trying to keep up with everything on here and starting interweb…

I don't follow anyone. I read every article with an open mind. How about you?

You mean the law of thermodynamics? if so, what is your take on this: "Newton’s first law of thermodynamics states that the energy of an isolated system is constant. In other words, in a laboratory, or “isolated system,” 1,000 calories of broccoli and 1,000 calories of soda are, in fact, the same. I’m not saying Newton was…

Nice. Someone told me arsenic was bad for me. Idiots. If they only knew what you told me.

It just takes practice. Take it slow and it will come to you. Trying to move too fast out of frustration is not the answer. Just do what you can and just keep doing that part if you want. Its like choreography. You don't go through the whole dance because no one is going to remember the whole thing. It's all about doing a…
