This was well worth the read!

This^^^ exactly for me. I'm in Arizona, so the Arctic Enema actually felt really good! The Electro shock Therapy was not bad at all until the end where one zapped me pretty good in the thigh and almost put me down! Haha! Cry Baby was pretty interesting...I def agree do it with a team. No one I know is crazy enough to do it…

The broomstick set up really helped it click for me that deadlifts are a hinge and not a squat movement. I also love Mark Ripptoe's Art of Manliness how to deadlift video. For some reason, he just explains everything in a way that I can understand so easily!

I fully agree with this ^^^^. I never really saw my abs pop until I began heavy compound lifting aka squats and deads. Oh, and of course watching my intake and prioritizing protein. I've even been able to accomplish this after having my three girls.

Same. I do this exactly. I like to weigh in daily and adjust my eating for that day according to the number. I have weighed in daily for a while now and know exactly what to do to bring that number back down. When the number is higher than I would like I don't freak out anymore because I know what I need to do. Simple as…

Wow! Awesome results! Looks like you've found your sweet spot!

Congrats on your fabulous progress!!! This thread gives me hope and is confirming what I'm finding with my own body. I've been in a steep deficit (with refeeds every weekend) for about 21 weeks now. I've been keeping my protein high for a short 41 year old female (100-140 grams). I've been implementing Wendler 531 and have…

Up at 3:50 to get started in my garage at 4am. I'm a morning person and have no energy after work.

I just discovered Jimmie Dean microwaveable egg white omelets at Sam's Club! 180 cals, 14 grams protein, 3 grams carbs. So fast and so delicious! I hate cooking in the morning (and don't have time) so these are going to be a great find for me.

I love threads like these; they restore my faith in humanity. I know you can do this! You have a very powerful motivation and will be your own success story!

Pour a vanilla protein shake over this and you've got a winner!

You know, you really shouldn't hop on these forums and second guess your coach. You are paying him to give you advice, and anytime you jump on a forum like this, people are going to cause you to second guess what you've been told. Just follow his advice. Time will tell. I've competed in 2 figure comps and finished top 3 in…

I recently purchased Insanity Max 30 and am really loving it!
-
^^^^Exactly. Man I love my garage gym...

I did this morning. I didn't feel like it at all, but then I thought A. I'll feel worse later on if I don't do it, and B. I know I'll feel glad I did after I'm finished because that's ALWAYS how I feel after a workout. Sometimes you have to mentally fast forward and realize what needs to be done in the present. This works…

I don't know what type of strength training you had in mind, but I have been working with the Wendler 531 app and LOVE it! I love that it tells me what to do and with how much weight (because really the goal is to increase weights each week) everyday, which is good when you get up when I do! I think you should read through…

Kirkland (Costco) protein bars. They are 20-25 grams I think. They are better than Quest bars IMO.

No! You are not too old, and what cares if you look stupid? Trust me, I have done all the OCR races that exist, and no one is standing around judging others. Do it! You will love it and it will give you something to train for. The Spartan WODs are a good place to start. You will need good upper body strength for Spartan.…

Bench pressed today and tried my new Maxi climber that Santa (husband) bought for me! I wore a 35lb vest and loved it! I completed 30 minutes of hiit training and was dripping with sweat when I finished!

Ahahahahahahahahaha!!!! This....this is so freaking awesome I can't even stand it! In my experience, I can glute bridge much more than I can hip thrust. I can bridge over 300lbs, and I hip thrust around 265 these days. Anyhow, I've noticed some nice development in my glutes (and I'm not genetically gifted in this area)…

Complete a Spartan Super and Tough Mudder. Also, to deadlift and squat at least 200 lbs.
-
I just ordered Insanity Max 30 today. Can't wait to tack them onto my heavy strength training days!
-
@Sued0nim You, you I like...

I would get under a bar if I were you. I think strength training helps to reduce and smooth out the appearance of cellulite. It did for me anyway. I used to have a frumpy mom bod.
