Dandelion root tea can work wonders! :)

I ate a whole jar of this once.....

Yep. The body hoards water because that is the best environment for it to heal in. Think about blisters. When the skin is broken or damaged in some way, the body will create a blister (pocket of water) for the skin to heal in. It's the same for our muscles; even if you aren't weight training, doing repetitive or high…

Did you get the sweats as well? Ewwww... I always try to remember how I feel after indulging too much to prevent me from going overboard. One serving ok, full out binge, NOT ok.

Dieter's Edema is a thing

On strength training days I do like 5000 scoops of NLA for her :D On cardio only days I take....wait for it...Redline. That's the stuff! 400 mg/scoop! Whooohooo!
-
Ha! EXACTLY! I tell myself, tomorrow, I'll cut back tomorrow, can't. cut. back. today.
-
I try to cut down and I'm always making excuses to add just a liiiiittle more to the scoop ;)
-
Ahahahaha! I am, unfortunately, addicted to my pre-workout...

Suave makes a great dry shampoo (gold bottle) and it smells really good. But yes, make sure your scalp is completely dry first!

This! Great advice! I do this and I feel like it's the best of both worlds...keeps things interesting!

I could believe she is 13% She just doesn't have the muscle mass behind it to look "ripped" and "striated". Usually when we see people at this bf, they are competitors (because they are the only ones who really actually get to this point) and they have a good base of muscle underneath.

I think you've really just answered your own question. True body composition changes take regular, intense, progressive strength training.

Wow, I really love this advice! I mean, think about it, you are starting each day off thinking you are a failure. You are playing a part in this story that you have created in your mind that you can't lose the weight again...that you've gained the weight back. I think wearing new clothes that you fit in will help break…

I love to lift! Any ladies who lift and are on MFP religiously please add me! My food diary is always open as well.
-
OMG...thank you...thank you so much for that. It made my day...seriously ;)
-
Wow! Those charts are fascinating! What a great way to keep weight loss in perspective. It's not linear, and it's more important to track a trend over time. So cool!
-
This! Visiting these boards and reading about my MFP friends and their daily exercise/success really keeps me distracted when I get bored.

I workout before breakfast since I get up before 4 am to get it done before work. I lift and my body has gotten used to lifting heavy without fuel in the tank. I always chug some pre-workout before, and on days when I feel weak or shaky I might add some BCAAs/glutamine to avoid catabolism. I have been making good progress…

This...I'm starting to see more cuts in my abs, my husband is chasing me around the house more, and my pants fit better so I really don't care what the scale says. I'm also close to my goal, short, and strength train 5-6 days a week so I know the scale will not cooperate with me.
-
Call me weird, but I get a strange satisfaction out of closing my diary and staying just under my calorie goal. I also find it fun to get creative about what I want to eat and making it fit. I don't see it as an inconvenience or hassle at all. I know that sticking to my goals will get me the body I feel confident in for…
-
Did you slowly add in those calories? Like 100 cals/day for a week and then 200 and so on? That's what I had to do.
-
You look fabulous! WTG! :)
-
Squats in the squat rack will give you tighter abs! Do you belong to a gym?

Snakes! Why did it have to be snakes! ;)

Mostly lean protein, veggies, and a healthy fat for every meal. My diary is open as well :)
