@Karlotta I love that video too. It was filmed in a part of England that I didn’t ever visit (by someone I don’t know on YouTube), but the country lanes are similar to the area I lived in as a teen before coming to Australia. The English countryside will always have a special place in my heart. And men… oh boy! I forgot…

Oh and I meant to say. My petite cousin lost weight last year and I praised her and congratulated her on her achievement. Today she said to me "So, you've lost some weight". A statement, not a question. No sh.. sherlock - David had said that I had at lunch. I knew there would be nothing further so I just said "Yes. A bit"…

It is *completely* normal jayciemarie and the sooner you forget it and move on the better you will be. Anything we do 'wrong' is a learning experience to remember for the next set of festivities and it's one tiny blip in the great scheme of things *hugs*

@Cindy I think I’m the same. Don’t work for money but there aren’t nearly enough hours in a day. I’m a July baby too – what date is yours? @Rebecca. I love your other spelling, but obviously go with the one you prefer. I’ve been taking my ashwaganda an hour or so before bed so that sleepy isn’t a problem. I’ve been taking…

I'm sensing a little well-deserved pride and a whole lot of excitement here Dan. I say to do the party your way so all your friends can truly see how it's done.
-
That's wonderful to know that it's helped you. Thank you for mentioning it and I hope it serves you well.

I've only had Bowen Therapy twice, but isn't it done with your clothes on? Mine was, and I just wanted to reassure Ellen (if that is the same practise everywhere). I sure understand the self-consciousness :(

Oh Janice, I used to love the squirrels in England. There's grey or red and one kind is rare but I can't remember which. Oh phew Jane, I certainly didn't want to make you homesick. I've seen one cycling video made in Oz, though it's from over east cycling along a path in suburbia. Certainly nothing worth sharing. I'll have…

That's really interesting Jane. So I should try to take the second tablet by the look of it. I've taken one a day with no stars, so hopefully I can now take the full dose of 2. The very first tablet I took, I could feel an effect very soon after that just lasted a minute or so. I felt rather 'floaty' just very briefly. The…

@Liana Bongiorno! Love the username. It’s so good to now have a smile about that. I love cheese too. We currently have mature cheddar, mozzarella, parmesan, Philadelphia cream cheese, babybel, cheese pods (that are similar to babybel) and ‘happy cheese’ which is what we call those portions in the round box that are either…

Thank you so much everyone (so far), Janice, Ellen, Susan, Jane and Kathie, for sharing your names etc. I love that in this group we can chat by name, and I’m hoping that we can do birthday wishes as IRL friends would @Jane Sorry you’re feeling grumpy today and hope it passes quickly. David is rarely grumpy but does a damn…

@Gale that's fantastic to hear, wow! Yet another victory, and so good that you noticed! @SideSteel we need both sides of every story. Balance, self testing, sensible discussion all make the world go around.

Thanks Ellen <3 Because I chew tablets they affect me pretty quickly, but it's good to know it possibly wasn't those. I just changed my diary but there hadn't been any 'comments' on it, only 'likes' so I was happy to be able to update it to tell the truth. And the 'likes' have stayed put. No point missing food out of the…

Oh wow, I hadn't thought of that. Makes every sense and yes, I tend to breathe way too shallow when I get the least bit tense. I hadn't put that together. I love knowledge, and sensible cause and effect. Thank you!!!

@Ellen Dr Mercola is good from everything I've heard. @Twibbly Phew, that's a relief. And obviously no weird starry eyes etc LOL @ The other brand of ashwaganda that I didn't buy had a large measure in each tablet. I forget the figure but I'm sure it was around 800mg so yours would be fine. @Kitn There's a bed here for…

@Sajyana When I have a massage or Bowen and they get to my back I find that I breathe really hard and deeply, do you have any idea why? My Bowen therapist looked worried (so it seems) but David was there, and knew all was fine because he's my massage therapist. He told her "It's OK, she does that" and she carried on.…

It's weird Ellen, but it didn't frighten me. And I'm easily frightened. But I felt totally well otherwise. I checked that it was both eyes, not just one, because my brother had a detached retina last year. But whether the stress reduction qualities of the stuff was helping me remain calm, or whether I'm just sick to death…

Maybe that is the case, yes. Let us know how you go. Perhaps if you're 'answerable' or needing to report in it'll help you be consistent?

It's a combo @Olivia so just the one tablet. I take one tablet about an hour before bed. The bottle says 1 - 2 per day but the first day I took one at 1pm (just after I bought them) and 1 at midnight. The midnight one quite literally made me starry-eyed. My vision went all pretty/shiny, though I was 100% normal in every…

That is truly fantastic. Gave me happy goosebumps to read of his change of mind. Hope all goes well on his healing journey. And yours too - I know what your emotional relief must be like.

We use it for cooking, and eat quite a lot of fried meals - bacon, eggs, the onion leading to a stir fry etc. I usually allow 2 teaspoonfuls per person for that. You could scramble eggs in a pan with coconut oil too, but those are limited help in getting a tablespoon at every meal. Here's a recipe for Coconut Bars that…

I get that finger swelling and tingling sometimes, it's not pleasant really is it? My personal opinion is that if you've always liked your salt, as I do, you can return to normal. You can tell that you're OK if you don't get cramps at night. I actually think I was overdoing the salt for a while and didn't feel too good. I…

Double post - mumble, grumble... ;)

Ellen and Olivia, don't forget Ashwaganda as another option. I've been taking my 'Stress and Anxiety' Rhodiola, Whithania (Ashwagandha), Sacred Basil, Siberian Ginseng and Lemon Balm for 2 days (instead of the valerian I was taking before) and my weight seems to be coming down again. Obviously it's too early to report on…
-
I'll keep you posted on my Rhodiola and Ashwa'wotsit'. Hopefully they can substitute for the Sytrinol.

I had that too @greenautumn17 If I expected any emotional release I'd have thought it would be tears or anger (from childhood, not adulthood). It was the total opposite, I was laughing. Felt really strange, but obviously good. I'm sorry your response made you miserable.
-
I'm sorry Ellen, that must be disappointing. But you're certainly doing the right thing!

I'm sure it won't SweetTea. I reckon our bodies are pretty smart and/or the chances of losing all the exact fat cells laid down at that time, all at the same moment, to overdose you, are pretty slim.
