Congrats on the loss! That's awesome!

I guess I'll just have to pay to have it cut off. It's like inches of hanging skin already. I'm trying to gain muscle to fill it in a bit, such a slow process.

I stay under 20 g. Yesterday I was higher. But rarely that happens.

Yes! This one rocks!!!

Pork rinds?

I have a tendency to retain water. Mostly it is stable but every now and then it swings from one end to the other (after I take lasix.) When it does that, my vision does get blurry. Usually it's just one of the signs that I need to do something to fix it.

I count all total carbs.

I can't wear the contacts when they are dry like that! So I dont!
-
Yes, dry eyes here. My contacts are torture devices! Even enough water doesn't seem to help!

I had 25.5 on wednesday and today I had 27. So I freaking did it! And I did it fasted. (Well I had coconut oil caps and a 1/4 sf cherry red bull.) My recovery last year was way worse.

I bring a bullet proof tea with me to things. It really helps to satisfy.

Right?! Lots of upsides go this! We had cake leftover and I didn't touch it! But I know was hat to eat if my gastroparesis acts up. Lol
-
Phew! Thanks! :)

Yeah, I agree with the pp, I'd scale back calories. It doesn't matter if you are in ketosis if you don't have a deficit in regards to weight loss. Good luck!
-
Dan, I'm originally from michigan too. I haven't seen mm light, I'll look for that! Thanks!

It was my gastro. I just got out of the hospital so it's still early on in my treatment. Slow digestion and gastroparesis is the same thing. Or rather it can be. I ate a small amount last night at dinner...and I still had a stomach ache and fullness until a bit ago. They didn't give me anything else to take, but like I…

Some people fast to get into ketosis faster, but your body needs something for energy eventually!

I never track my track time. I have worn a heart monitor and found I burned about 700 calories based on my height/weight. For a 2 hour practice where we did drills or were moving the whole time. On scrimmage days with a big league (tampa) we don't get a lot of track time. Like every 4th jam sometimes. Jams 30 secs to 2…

That's a good thing to know!

Great! Thanks for the input!

I hardly ever remember my dreams and since I started lchf I've had that experience. I didn't know whether to chalk it up to hormones or maybe wellbutrin (although, that wasn't my experience prior). After about a month things have seemed to calm down. They were super vivid for a while there.
-
Thanks! That all makes sense!

My husband just sent me that link too. Lol. I got through 1.5 hours of our 2 hour practice. My heart was up (I'm 45) and I was getting dizzy and shaky. Looked through my potassium counts for the last month and while I'm low on sodium, my potassium is way low. Likely, my biggest issue. I hate a lot more variety prior to the…

Thanks I'll try that. I wake up in the AM shaky too. I read that can be from the lack of those nutrients, also. I don't plan on stopping my WOE, but modifying where I get nutrients from is going to help. Thanks for the answer, I would have posted on my fb page but people are really on me to eat like 100 carbs. That just…

Have you been testing your blood or urine for ketones take sure you're in ketosis? Aside from that, I don't know!
-
I've been eating 15 or less carbs a day. Your brain can live on glucose or ketones. I feel better than ever and I don't have to deal with blood sugar fluctuations!
