Yeah, I have to despoil anything I throw out because I want to eat it. So spray it with cleaner or ruin it with water, or tear it up and throw it in the bin unwrapped. Otherwise it's likely to be rescued in a later moment of weakness. Confession: I've watched so many British documentaries I use the word 'bin' as often as…

I can't wait until the rich try foisting dead bugs as a protein source off on American workers so they can have all the steak for themselves. Finally, there will be revolution.

Yep. Police are people, too, after all. We shouldn't forget it when some bad departments need a house cleaning. Now PR people and advertisers, not entirely sure they're people. ;)
-
Not unless you arrange it. And I'm pretty sure it will cost you a bundle!
-
Thanks! :) Negativity, wow that encompasses a lot of different types of thinking. Seems like a good idea, maybe I should just ease into it!

Exercise helps my anxiety. The more intense and the more of it the better.

Yep. It wasn't sneaky, though. Flat out said it was public relations. I still feel sorry for the guy (or anyone who really does this in their patrol car) and wouldn't want a cam on me while I drive around.

Speaking from personal experience: Grouchy when hungry (low carb helps stave this off, but if I go long enough, watch out, there is a pissy two year-old coming out) Grouchy when I eat something I shouldn't or more than I should because I live in literal mortal fear of messing up all my hard work Grouchy when sleepy (my…

Cute little thing, but it wasn't cute as fat on me!
-
Bahaha! Another reason I wouldn't want to be a cop. I sing in the car all the time, no way do I want a cam pointed at me!

LCHF, diary open to friends if anyone wants to add. I don't do the bars or frozen meals or anything like that. Don't mind the empty days followed by cheese, meat, and egg feasts, though. I sometimes do Intermittent Fasting, too.

The Blue Zone is an interesting read for healthy ways of eating. If I were going to try to copy a culture's diet, I think I could do worse than narrowing it down to Sardinia, Italy. But there is way more to health and long life than diet or even diet and exercise according to what the authors found.…

You're in America. We're not used to seeing lean people. Just stop talking to family about it, smile if they bring it up, thank them politely for their concern, and be on your merry way.
-
Yeah, I know how that is! You need to eat better and exercise was the way they put it, but they were saying (truthfully!) that I was too fat. Now some of my family is stressing because they think I'm too thin. Can't win, not even trying anymore, just doing what I want. Not that my family isn't hit or miss when it comes to…

Fat: Whatever Protein: Trying to get it down a bit, I'm getting over 90g and sometimes higher. Carbs: For the first two weeks I tend to keep it around 20g or less a day. Right now I'm eating around 30g.
-
I can only speak from personal experience: The first two weeks I'm in ketosis my body fights it all the way and sometimes that means I overeat all the steak. And I have gained weight from it. Then it smooths out and I start losing. It seems to be unusual, a lot of people experience a big weight loss rush and their…

I love Nutella because the cheeky so-and-sos actually slotted several commercials with a very catchy jingle on My 600 Pound Life. Awesome! Now I associate Nutella and their little tune with morbid obesity. I wish all the snack food companies would do this.

It's not so much the wine as the alcohol munchies. And I do like my alcohol a bit too much lately, so I've banished it for a month or three. Don't want to become a lush!

Given how long it took for trans fats to be taken off the GRAS list, I would not assume this at all.

This! What a difference!

I haven't tried this for headaches, but I love coconut water. Definitely worth the extra money! Also JPW has a great suggestion for if it is low carb flu with the broth. A lot of Atkins people use it to transition in because of the salt.

Eat for energy, not entertainment.

I suspect My Fat Fabulous Life is going to curve into the beloved American 'sin and repent' track sooner rather than later. I enjoy the show, and I am rooting for her to get fit and not get diabetes, but I feel it's a little manipulative.

Nope, they keep that locked down. Unlike a lot of other series, you can't find this one on Youtube. I've looked.

I have learned that if I want to workout vigorously rather than slouch around on a stroll and call it a workout, I have to eat back my calories. Not every day, but it has to balance out for the week.

It's fine, that kitten will get plenty of revenge as soon as the owner leaves the bathroom door open and the toilet paper dangling low enough.
-
Clean eating, definitely. Because I'm in a better mood and have more energy when I eat produce and meat as opposed to cake and cookies (maybe the two are synonymous, what use is living with no energy?). Besides, a reasonable portion of ice cream for my 'discretionary calories' is a sad couple of tablespoons, not worth my…

Hey, could be. I crave ice cream sometimes. No wait, never mind, somewhere in the back of my mind there is always part of me wanting ice cream! I gave in and started supplementing when I went back to low carb. I take calcium with D and a multivitamin rather than risk bone health issues. Hey, I'm a klutz who trips on…

I think you will adjust but I can't be sure because when I go into ketosis I tend to go all the way into low carb, eating only eggs, meat, and cheese until I adjust (if this is indeed what is happening to you, if it keeps up it could be doctor time just to be safe).

Are you eating lower carb, by accident or on purpose? With the exercise burning off your glycogen stores you might be experiencing low carb flu.
