1.5-6lbs of fat loss is probable with maybe some additional water weight loss.

Protein 1g per lb of LBM Fat .45g per lb of body weight Carbs whatever is left in your cal allotment. Percentages mean nothing without knowing what they are a percentage of. When bulking get in the protein and after that is filled eat what you like to get to your cal needs.

What is a good bf starting point for a female to bulk at?
-
Is it that time of the month? Your cycle can add water weight.

Peanutbutter Butter Cream cheese Juice Avocado Oil Most any high cal food you want. How about a snickers or some ice cream?

About as well as any other diet.....

Yes and if you will just provide your cc# I will be happy to tell you! ;) In all honesty no. There is no magic food!
-
Unfortunately no. All you can ever target is the muscle under it. This will not make you lose fat there any faster, but it will make you look firmer when you lose the fat.

There are thoughts that it is better to wake according to your sleep cycles which are 1.5 hrs long. Maybe try to get to sleep 30 min earlier so you get 7.5 hrs of sleep or stay up an hour later so you get 6 hrs.

Before I fell off the wagon I was getting there too. I can't wait to shed the weight again!! Your shoulders and traps look powerful and your lats are starting to really come out. Your work is showing!
-
I think the back is the sexiest part on both men and women, and yours has some beautiful cuts coming in! Well done!!!

She was talking about one person and one instance she observed. The friend was generalizing all people who have observable muscle mass.

It's sad when people proudly display their ignorance.

80+ lbs sounds like a lot of weight to people who don't know what weight looks like. When you say 80lbs people see an 8year old child, they don't see how that much weight could possibly be clinging to you. When people hear 80 lbs they think it will all come off hips butt thighs and stomach, they don't see the 10-15 lbs…

A 3 hour hike can do that to you. It is water to help heal the muscles you used yesterday.

I think "short or under" would have many variables including if you are maintaining bulking or cutting, and if you focus on more endurance based or strength based training. Just my thoughts

Is it ok I feel slightly vindicated by this post? I always just thought that since protein was the used to build muscle it would make sense that it would help shorten DOMS. Again all speculation on personal experience. I have never really researched it.
-
For me.... Sorry it was personal experience I was drawing from. I should have made sure that was clear.

In the end it is going over your cals that makes you fat not where the cals come from. Enjoy the fat just keep to your cal targets!
-
Color me curious to see this study. Can you post a link?
-
There is a breast feeding entry that gives you extra cals per oz your baby eats.
-
Look at what macro you are going over on and be more careful with it in the future.

Some people swear by the sleep cycle as the answer to being rested. A sleep cycle is 1.5 hrs, so make sure you sleep a multiple of 1.5hrs. If you only have 4 hrs before you have to get up sleep for just 3 of them. This has todo with following the bodies natural rhythm.
-
One day of going over won't kill you but shorting protein can hinder muscle repair and make DOMS last longer.

B vitamins

Sounds to me like it may be an allergy, but as long as the gain dosnt discourage you there isn't any reason to worry about it.
-
If you do choose to maintain please be aware that you will see a ~5# jump on the scale in the first few days. This is not fat!!!! This is water and glycogen weight which will signal to your body that it dosnt have to conserve energy any more. Most people have a metabolism range of +/- 2-300 cals. Don't be surprised if…

It does take time for your mind to see the true you in the mirror....I think this is called fat kid syndrome. I think you are in the healthy range for your weight, but you also aren't close to the low end, so if you do chose to lose more it isn't dangerous. For reference I am 5'10 and before my bulk got down to 142 lbs,…

If you are worried about your health go to a dr to get checked out. If it is your mindset that has you concerned, take some time of from dieting and maintain for a while. ( you can always diet more in a few months if you truly feel you want to lose more.) Above all be kind to yourself, you have accomplished amazing…

Are you losing weight? If so keep doing things the way you have been, if not, try removing the steps. This is a game of trial and error.
