If you google "New Leaf Wellness", she has different lists of crockpot recipes - enough to last you for a week (sometimes longer)! Prep time varies between 15 to 30 minutes (for all of the meals) and she even includes the grocery list. The meals are very good and for the most part, once you enter the recipes into MFP, work…

44 pounds is completely doable! I have lost almost 40 since January and my start weight was the same as yours :) Good luck!

Same with me. I went from a size 8 to a 2 and still feel overweight. My bigger struggle is comments from others - before I would get subtle comments about being overweight, and now I am getting comments saying that I am too thin, and family members start bringing me plates of food at functions. I know I have come a long…

When I cut back to 1200 calories per day, it took me a couple weeks for my body to get used to it and the hunger pains to stop. give it a few more weeks :)

It is totally doable - I have lost 44 pounds since January 18th (didn't start logging my weight until a bit later, so my profile says only 36). I eat 1200 calories per day, exercise and drink lots of water  Good luck to you! You can do it!

I love the GNC pre bottled Total Lean Shakes in Vanilla or Chocolate. Definitely like them for the taste (don't taste like any other protein drink I have had) and they are convenient being as they are pre bottled - I don't have to make them so it saves me time. They're delicious, have 25g of protein, and easy to store in…

I have Mirena and have lost 33 pounds since mid January

I relate all too well with this. Before logging all of my food, I would do the same thing - take food into the bedroom and eat some snacks out of sight from my boyfriend... It wasn't until I starting logging everything that I realized how much all of that added up!!!! sometimes an extra 300-500 calories.

I buy the GNC Total Lean shakes - they taste great (I love the vanilla and the chocolate shake), 170 calories with 25g of protein. I have one every morning after my coffee and they keep me full until about noon. I am not a breakfast person in the slightest, so if I didn't have my shake, I probably wouldn't eat anything…

I agree! We went to a sporting event today and all week, I was so excited to indulge with a hot dog and maybe some fries, but when we got there, it just didn't seem worth it.

I have a desk job and I have lost 33 pounds since January. I make sure to do as much walking during the day as possible - on my lunch hours, if it is nice, I will walk as fast and far as I can down our main street downtown. I bring my lunch and snacks to work, rather than going and grabbing some greasy food off of a food…

Yes! I was 20 pounds overweight because I could not control my eating habits! I would clear 2500 calories a day, easy. Constant eating and GIANT portions. Now that I am weighing my food, adding every single thing I consume into my food diary, it has started to click and after a month eating smaller portions, it became easy…

I have lost 27 pounds, dropped a pants size almost immediately, and people started to really notice after ten pounds. But I have only gone from a size 8 to a size 4 since January 18th. I did gain some weight last year, and a size 8 might have been too small for me after my gain. Good work on the 40 pounds! Thats awesome!

Drinking lots of water, weighing my food, making sure that I get enough protein, and daily exercise!
