Welcome @Happychick5983

Hello everyone! I hope those that aren't feeling well bounce back quickly! I had a down day Tuesday. Just felt run down. I had to except the fact that there will be days like that. But as long as I keep a balance I will still be fine. I still ate well, but I listened to my body and rested it. Anyone have anything exciting…

@kp3868 I asked about exercise because I would find it hard to burn calories eating so little. I have no doubt the doctors told you to limit yourself that much. I wish you the best on your own journey.
-
@kp3868 I applaud your determination. I have seen other people go thru what you are going thru after surgery. Which adds to the reason why it will never be the choice for me. I'm not really sure how you can eat so few calories though. Do you exercise? I am sure you have much knowledge to offer those who are thinking about…

@want2bhappy31 love my fitbit!

Welcome @didjaever.
-
@bregalad5 That sounds fun! What a great way to put yourself out there and stay on track!

@princesdalya Sometimes motivation is hard when getting restarted. What I has to do was develop a routine and stick to it until the rewards of exercise became my motivation. That is pushing me forward now. Start with a small goal to do 30 min of cardio 3 times a week maybe. Then build from there.
-
@shirayne Great job on your better choices! @believefsc Hello! Not really sure how the tagging system works on this app. Sometimes the app works better some days then others.
-
Welcome @Stephckc and @bigchubbohanz!! I encourage you to read through all the past posts if you haven't to get to know everyone else and feel free to add any of us so we can get to know you guys! We all go at things slightly differently, but all of our goals are the same. To be happier, healthier, and hopefully lighter…

@inchwormbyinchworm I was interested in it because for longterm healthy living I feel like it will be very beneficial.

Hi everyone! I tried something new today. Yoga. I think I will really enjoy it once I learn the moves more. All I know is afterward I felt completely relaxed. But I also know I moves many muscles in different ways. I had a high activity day since I was off work. Time to wind down and relax. The weekend is nearly here. For…

@want2behappy31 It is possible without surgery! Baby steps. You can do it!

@mrsmuzzy24 I know what it's like to juggle work, my son, and my health. It takes effort but it gets easier. Did you measure so you could see if you are losing inches? You are doing great getting to the gym! I'm on a 1900 calorie plan. But on high exercise days I eat closer to 2200. I make healthy choices. But I'm losing.…
-
@Jonesm97 When I started I was losing at 2200 calories a day. It is just a slow process for me. My body works in shifts. I build muscle then I burn off some calories. Build more muscles lose more weight. Right now my calorie input is around 1900. But I am pretty active daily. No less then an hour of cardio a day. Plus,…

I should add supper time is the hardest for me to remember I'm full. So working on portion control. And if I think I'm still hungry I drink a glass of water and wait to see how I feel. It's a process. I won't be perfect. But I will be better.
-
I know. It's like relearning the signals. But I am doing it. I know my range of what I should eat when I'm very physically active and when I'm not. That is also helping me make the right decisions.
-
@shirayne thanks! I feel so behind in here. More new people. All of us still fighting the same battles. Trying to find that control over food and our bodies. Support helps us all so welcome to everyone! @Treasa2013 We all have bad days. Great work on the healthy choices! @inekestorms Welcome!! I have a 2 year old son that…

Thanks guys! I took it easier today. But still moved. Didn't want my muscles to get all tight. Hoping to get a workout in before work tomorrow.
-
@shirayne It happens sometimes. All is not lost. I'm excited this morning. After I worked crazy hard yesterday I hit my 10lb goal for my February weight loss challenge. So, my weight loss total is now 30lbs! I don't know if I have ever lost 10 lbs in a month though. So I'm happy. Today I will hit my fitbit goals, but no…

I feel the same way. It keeps me moving all day long!

@jck511 Great job getting started! @SkinnyGirlFatBody Welcome! Great bunch of people in here. @jonesm97 I am ready for warmer weather also. The C25k is somewhere in my future also. Not yet. But I would love to start the program this summer. When snow isn't covering my road!
-
How was everyone's Wednesday? Mine was pretty good. Even included a nap. But still got an hour of cardio in, plus a plank and a wall a 2 minute wall sit. Hit 20,000 steps on my fitbit too!
-
@skinniwithin I added you as a friend. I also use fitbit if you want to add me let me know. Good goals to start with.
-
@2run2ski Way to go keeping your thoughts positive after a disappointment.
-
Due to my work schedule this week I haven't gotten to get an early workout in. I miss it! So much easier to get going in the morning and keep the momentum when I start early. Still makes my way down the weight loss ladder. And feeling stronger. I love that! How is everyone else doing? It's Wednesday and sometimes people's…

Look at all the new posts!! Welcome everyone. To answer the fitbit question it works wherever you are. You just to sync via Bluetooth on your smart phone or sync it to your computer. But the fitbit itself tracks without an Internet connection.
-
I get around 20k steps a day and it's all inside. Even without the gym!
-
@Ireznik123 Welcome, I use my fitbit all the time. Love it. My email is daniellesaurers@gmail.com if you want to add me.

Monday is here again. Some of us are continuing our journey and others are just starting! I hope everyone has a great week. My main goals for this week are the same as last. Hit my fitbit goals, drink my water, and portion control. Tonight is a gym night and I would love to have a high step count for the day. Our suppers…
