I started off well but then stopped planning and the social summer took over. I work full time and I have kids in sports which makes…

Help! I’ve fallen off the wagon with my steps and eating. I need to get back on the wagon! The camp out last week derailed me, and I have struggled since. I went out for dinner last night with coworkers and chose unhealthy versus healthy and added some wine. I know today is a fresh day and I have the ability to make good…

Weigh day PW 175.5 CW 179 +3.5 lb I know I ate aimlessly and didn’t walk as much but I don’t believe it was 3.5 lb gain. It is what it is and I started off fresh this morning with a nice walk and meal prep for today.

@Cyncia85 I switched to a sedentary job three years ago and two of those years I was completing my masters, so I know all about not having time to move around. This year though, since May I have put my activity as a priority. I wake up earlier and I go for a walk before work and try to get at least 4 to 5000 steps before I…

Let me catch you all up— I went to a giant water park last week and since it was chilly and overcast is wasn’t busy. That was awesome but also meant that I kept climbing up to those giant monstrosity slides over and over and over again since there were barely any waits. I didn’t have my phone on me so I didn’t track those…

@Itadakimasu7 if you have a passion go for it. I wouldn’t judge your motivational abilities based on whether your husband listens to you. I think it often helps when you were seek someone out as a third-party. My sister-in-law was 55 when she decided to become a full-blown yoga instructor. She made that decision during the…

Steps 8/13 13,165 8/14 1,598 Yesterday, I worked out with free weights in the morning and then relaxed and read while it rained after work. I have to say-I loved that downtime! I’ll be at a water park today so I won’t be recording many steps today since I use my phone to do that

I came across this article and it was a great reminder… “You can’t undo the ill effects of a poor diet simply by squeezing in an extra session at the gym or lifting a heavier weight.” When I was on WW years ago, I did not exercise much, and I always lost the weight because of the massive calorie deficit that plan follows.…
