I recommend thyroid testing. TSH, T3 and T4. Simple blood tests.

So last night I moved the families junk food out of the pantry and into an upper cabinet and moved my empty food containers into the pantry. I might up my calories a little. Maybe I am being too restrictive. Thanks for the advise.

Very good ideas. There are numerous items we don't have because they tempt me too much, but apparently some other things need to be added to the list. Maybe my husband can lock his junk in the safe, lol. Thank you for the input.

I am also glad to know that it is not just me that cannot make the mental adjustment. I lost 70 lbs and have been maintaining at 65 lb loss for 8 months. I wear size 6 jeans. And when I look in the mirror, I still see 205 lbs!

Good lesson learned hopefully. After being excessively hungry and eating so much food, the next day was BETTER than usual. I was less hungry and able go throughy day without having food always on my mind. I ate much less the next day. No weight changes to speak of. Thanks for the encouragement.
